citizen divers watch – This watch was a present from my daughter and as I am a firefighter and enjoy swimming etc I needed a good divers watch and was given this watch which to be honest has been great up until now. It is good in that it can be seen clearly with the luminous hands of a night time which is important for me without reading glasses on. However less than 3 years on the glass fogged up and it has now stopped working altogether, I am very disappointed my previous casio divers watches survived the water very well The watch looks similar to the one in the photo and was purchased from a reputable citizen watch and jewelry shop in warringah mall brookvale and being a gift i dont have the purchase details. they are meant to have a 5 year warranty apparently so if you are buying one make sure you hang on to the docket and warranty and be prepared you may only get 2 years out of it. I need a reliable water proof watch even though I dont do diving so will be looking at others
Purchased in at Prouds Physical store for $400.
Don’t waste your money – If you want a watch that keeps accurate time, don’t buy this watch. The watch is advertised as being radio controlled so it can keep accurate time. While the theory is great, when using the automatic summer time function, some genius forgot to tell the person that sets the radio controlled bit that summer time operates in Sydney and much of Australia. As a result, when it randomly receives the radio signal from Japan, which it’s not supposed to do, it automatically resets BACK one hour. Citizen Australia’s answer to that little glitch was to set my watch to Noumea time when summer time operates and back to Sydney when it finishes. Just to state the bleeding obvious, that completely negates the whole summer time function. The watch routinely (but not every day) resets by an hour making it useless as a timepiece. Don’t waste your money.
