Any ecommerce or service based business should seriously consider coax - it has basically replaced a CRM for us (but honestly does way more)!

On top of that, leaving Podium was a nightmare. I was at the end of my contract and they blatantly ignored my messages when I tried to cancel. The whole offboarding process was painful and unprofessional.
Coax AI is miles ahead in terms of AI integration for B2C businesses. The flow system (automated rules) they’ve built for us can actually reply to customers with proper suggestions, create checkout links, and prefill their details on our Shopify store. For a business handling as many fitment questions as we do, that’s game-changing.
What’s impressed me most is the support. I’ve had the devs jump on a call instantly when something wasn’t working, identify the issue immediately, and fix it on the spot. There was even a time I accidentally deleted Coax from our website - they had it re-installed and running again straight away.
I’ll admit I wasn’t fully sold on switching from Podium at first. When you rely on something every day, the idea of moving platforms is a risk. But I’m glad I made the jump. Not only am I saving over $200 a month (more if I’d been using Podium’s AI features), but the team actually listens. They’ve implemented multiple features I suggested - and they did it fast.
If you’re on the fence, or stuck paying enterprise prices for basic features, give Coax a go. It’s been a solid upgrade for us.

Coax vs. Podium – Coax wins by a long mile, simply for being there whenever we need them, giving our business a great communication channel that's easy to use for our customers, and not locking us into sneaky year-long contracts that are expensive and auto-renewing (like Podium does). I especially appreciate a local Aussie team that are really easy to reach and so very helpful - I highly recommend giving Coax a go!
Helps get quotes OUT – Coax app has helped me manage a large influx of quotes and clients and allowed me to respond to quote requests in a timely manner. Their support is very active and helpful!

Coax is a key part of our sales team – Air Adventure has had a great experience with Coax and it is now a key part of our sales process. The Coax team have been hands on and helped us build automations and integrations with HubSpot and it is nice to have a consistent team of real people to work with. Good pricing, great customer service, good platform – I’ve been using Coax for over a year and am impressed with how the platform operates and continues to evolve. It offers great value for money and is a reliable system.
Look for Alternatives like PODIUM or others for a better experience – we used this app for about 11 months $299 a month. It works here and there but is not the best out there. Customer Service is not great either they take ages to respond. I would try PODIUM or other message servicing apps. Spend your money elsewhere
A cheaper & better alternative to other SMS platforms – Easy to use, cheaper than the competition & Aussie support, which means our questions get answered super fast. Plus they handled a lot of the onboarding which meant the transition was seamless. As a business we find it useful to have all the platforms in the one inbox rather than split up between platforms eg emails, facebook etc. Plus they have Instargram too which our last provider didn't have. So highly recommend!
