Like all things, hosting was good, until it wasn't. Website and emails have been down since early Monday morning. It's now 3:30pm on Thursday, still down. 4 days of downtime is unacceptable. With daily backups even a total server loss should be able to be resolved within 12 hours. Deploy a new server, point IP's to that server at the data center, download and restore backups. 24 hours MAXIMUM.
Was given an ETA of Wednesday night to Thursday morning for my businesses website and emails to be restored. Still nothing, support tickets asking about an ETA from 11am this morning have remained un-answered.
If the owners cannot make themselves available during a massive outage like this, I really struggle to consider them a viable company to leave your businesses major contact points in the hands of.
Terrific Hosting Provider – SO GOOD. THANKFULLY! we went to comauhost.com.au. They are GREAT!!! Fast good support, migrated all our files over from the other hosting. Completed in just 15 min! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. After shocking WEEKS of trouble with Netregistry now called Web Central, they couldn't even establish a new subscription, totally failed, Web Central support was so bad.
