DO NOT BUY KOGAN PRODUCTS INCLUDING EXTENDED CARE – Kogan’s Connectivity Extended Care is nothing short of a scam in Australia. When you purchase a product, they aggressively push you to buy extended care. However, when you attempt to make a claim, they put you through a tedious process—asking for videos and other evidence—only to come up with a flimsy excuse to reject your claim and close the ticket without any discussion. Their products are of poor quality, failing far too soon, making them a complete waste of money. Worse still, the extended care is nothing but a deceptive scheme designed to rob you of your hard-earned money. I strongly urge everyone to avoid buying anything from Kogan.
Shady company, steer clear where you can – Misleading coverage, ordered through Kogan. Mishap protection with an image displaying a broken screen, yet it was not covered. Company should be investigated as it's behavior goes against any reasonable person's thinking. Customer service from company poor.
scammers – they do not deserve this one star. KOGAN sell commercial machines(name, product desctription says it is for a commercial use) and ask you if you would want a extended care. when you have a trouble, nothing is covered because this commercial product was not maintained at home. the so-called insurance company will tell you, if this was not advertised as a commercial product, they cannot cover it. it is advertised as a commercial appliances, and when i mentioned that, she would just say you need our specific approval. what is the specific approval? it is advertised a a commercial product and made for it. if you cannot cover it to start with, do not take my money. simple is that they play damb and make total non-sense to confuse you, you feel like you are on the wrong side after talking to them on the phone. total scammers and shame on these people who work there, stealing money from innocent people and pretend like they are righteous....
do not pay for the extended care and waste hundreds of dollars. what a scam.
Kogan extended warranty – I purchased and extended care product from Kogan for my TV, it developed a fault that was repaired, the same fault has happened and they said they will send a replacement TV, now they have said after the original repair cost of just under $370.00 comes out, I’m left with $427.00 to go towards a purchase, this is a terrible product and if I had of known that any faults that get repaired come out of the cost I would not have purchased it, I wonder if they repaired under warranty for the second time would I end up owing them!!!
Thieves – I have an extended warranty for a TV which I purchased from Kogan. Apparently this mob are the ones that look after the warranties and rip you off. The TV cannot be fixed and this mob want to replace it with an inferior product claiming they can replace it for whatever is currently available. So you purchase an extended warranty and really you are just throwing your money away. I paid $600 for my TV and they say the equivalent is a TV worth $470. No wonder there is currently a class action against these fraudulent extended warranties and I hope they look into every company that issues them as they are completely worthless.
