card, Facebook does not accept their card as a payment option. I explained the issue to the company and requested assistance, however they refused to provide a refund for the money sitting in the account - not the admin costs.
I have now spent over 6 months trying to resolve the matter, with many of my emails being ignored or I get a generic response saying someone will look into it and then they disappear. Do not trust them, and do not give them your money. I have taken this to ACCC.

retrieving the card this year found the expiry date was only 12 months after the date of issue. This was confirmed by checking the card details online.
I contacted Corporate Prepaid Cards to advise them that the expiry is not compliant with the law, and could they please re-activate the card or issue another of equal value. UGC responded referring to exemptions under NSW regulations and indeed acknowledged the card was issued with a 12 month expiry. I obtained and referenced the Treasury Laws Amendment (Gift Cards) Bill 2018 in response which is the national law passed specifically to avoid short validity durations and has an explicit example covering this exact situation, and yet they again refused to acknowledge the legal requirement, citing a business to business transaction as a reason they did not need to comply (again, incorrect).
Their responses were quite blunt and lacking in any willingness to show any serious consideration, and given it is a blatant and greedy disregard of the law, and suspecting they will therefore have taken off with many other customers' money given my situation is not at all unique, I thought a public review was appropriate and will hopefully help others avoid buying from an organisation that seeks to take money from people who know the law and expect products such as these to comply.

Resend Fee – I’ve had a consistently terrible experience with this company. I send out multiple cards each month, and there are frequent issues with recipients not receiving them. the recipient’s gift card balance! This policy punishes the recipient instead of invoicing the fee to us, the sender. Despite raising this concern, their customer service refuses to waive the fee. I even requested to speak with a manager, as a business that sends out numerous cards each month should have some priority when it comes to waiving such fees, especially when the fault is not on our side.
