After ordering the tag I found out from Paypal that without being aware of it I had signed up for ongoing subscriptions (this for something that is advertised as free) which I immediately cancelled. Looking up other reviews it is obvious this is a scam to get you to sign up tom monthly subscriptions. Show details

Would give it zero if I could. From the large number of harassing email to setup your tag, at no point does it say there is $9.99 per month subscription fee. Have reported them to Fair Trading and the ACCC. Scam scam scam. Don’t bother. Show details

Deceptive marketing offering FREE tag with just delivery fee payable. When you receive the tag and activate it, you are automatically added to a premium membership with a monthly subscription of $9.95 direct debit. You cannot easily contact anyone and when trying to login in on the APP you enter your email and press continue and a code is meant to be sent to you mobile and a link in email which never arrives. Show details

BEWARE of the fineprint When it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Yes, you can get your pet tag send to you by paying postage cost only. You will, however, automatically be signed up for a premium membership (potentially if you don't cancel). Communication is purpose-built dodgy so that you assume, you are signing up for a basic… Read more

membership, whilst requesting your payment details 'for postage cost'.

I never realised until my account was debited multiple times.

Dodgy business practices.

I will instantly remove the tag from my pet's harness.

I DO NOT recommend Crumb.

Just had an unpleasant experience trying to cancel the subscription I had INADVERTENTLY signed up for and paid. The website is poorly organised to facilitate changes and cancellations. No mention was initially made that this was a subscription service, and billed without choice or option via PayPal. The service for pet care sounds great but the implementation for customers is dishonest. Avoid. Show details

Highly misleading advertising. I am unaware how the subscription commenced, but it was unauthorised. Appears push back at my request for refund and cancellation. Might be a good service, but leave out The trickery in the sign up to a subscription. Scam. Robbers.

The pet tags looked like a promising product, so I signed up for the free tag only (paid for postage $7.87) which arrived quickly. Upon setup of the tag through the app, it automatically signed me up to the subscription without my consent/approval. I did not sign up for any "premium service" and so did not expect any ongoing charges on my Paypal… Read more

account. I only noticed a couple of months later that Crumb had been deducting $13.95 each month for the last 3 months. I immediately contacted Crumb and requested a refund as I did not authorise any ongoing payment. Crumb have refused to refund as they claim I accepted a premium service, which I did not. I exchanged 5 emails with the Support at Crumb and they refused to accept my claims that I did not sign up for "premium service" and refused my requests for a refund. They have never offered to provide evidence that I signed for this paid service, as they incorrectly claim. I have removed the free tags from my dogs and have thrown them away. Never again will I deal with a business that has no integrity.

No integrity in this company, and it appears a tactic to get ongoing fees from unsuspecting customers.. Do not sign up. The tag itself is not a smart tag, its just a disc with a QR code.

Would give 0 stars if i could, initially looked like a promising product. Signed up for the free tag (paid for shispping) which arrived quickly. Upon setup of the tag through the app, it automatically signed me up to the subscription without my consent/approval. Turns out my payment details I entered for the shipping was saved and then used for… Read more

the first payment, again without any consent.

My bank picked it up as suspecious as it came from an overseas company.

Absolutely scam (scum!) of a company. Do night sign up. The tag itself is not a smart tag, its just a disc with a QR code. Not even worth being free.

States 99c for premium to get you started, they send out a tag for your pet with a QR code so if lost the finder can scan and you get your animal back, great idea. Just read the fine print $10 per month, then for some reason they said I selected vet… Read more

care for $20 per month, which I didn't. Makes it $30 per month, and they just start charging once they have your bank details. No willingness to resolve. I asked they cancel my service. Money lost for three months...Bit Scammy

Follow-up  · No offer to correct the situation. Just wrote to them and canceled and threw the tag out. Please make sure you write to them and clarify all terms as they can be misleading if you decide to use this service. Customer service is poor
