I use this daily as much as I use for my locally-based exchange.

I specifically use the wallet application and I am confident and competent in using it without having to feel ashamed or concerned in not knowing what I am doing.

[The Pros(+)] - Can use a credit / debit card to purchase - Can use a direct banking institution (although limited to European banking institutions) - Can accrue mission points, allowing you to access interesting purchases - Can set up a credit card within the application and obtain reward benefits from its use - Can do staking to earn an additional amount, however there is an issue - Crypto.com provides invaluable support to get you through in difficult times when trying to navigate the application or via their many products and services - many different forms of security authentication and can have multiple set up so that if one fails, it is still secure - transferring tokens from one exchange to another is easy after satisfying multiple security factors

[The Cons(-)] - Exuberant transactional fees - Buyer/Seller beware - Exchange rates of currencies shown is significantly higher than those on other exchanges you are use to which means your purchase power is lowered and you pay more in fees - The special purchase programs on offer, takes 90 days to see the bonuses added to your wallet - Earning additional interest on staking, locks a certain amount of tokens you have where you can't access it until a certain period of time. Just like a term-deposit.

[The Final Thoughts] I don't have any issues with this service offering other than transaction fees which I am rather annoyed with. My experiences so far in 2023, have found that one token after transferring, costed me about $100 in fees. Not very impressed, but that is one major negative aspect that I have to be mindful when conducting transfers.

So is it for you? I think it is worth having a look at, especially if you are the sort of person, who has better things to do other than being confused and lost navigating a product offering that doesn't monitor and manage your finances, nor offer extreme security measures and assistance where it is needed. Then quit what ever you're using right now and give this one a shot.

Mindful that you weigh up the pros and cons first and especially do your own thorough research before making a commitment.

it was a preventive measure against scam, I contacted their Support team to clarify that the transaction was legitimate and explained that all I wanted was to transfer my ETH coins to my personal wallet. Unfortunately, that went to deaf ears. All my repeated withdrawals were also cancelled with no explanation. That was in spite of the assurance from their Support team or escalation of the matter to their so-called specialists. The repeated cancellations have completely nullified my confidence and defeated the main purpose of opening an account with them. After four days of futile attempts, I gave up, withdrew my money and close the account. After such a dreadful experience, I will NEVER recommend crypto.com to anyone! Low fees mean nothing if the CRO token falls – Avoid this platform. The idea is you take on CRO and get low fees a card and other financial benefits. A$0.20. Better off paying the fees on transactions which on reputable platforms is not too much. I tried to use customer support a few times and it was all pay pay PAY, when you could get a hold of someone. The app was full of flashy stuff that mostly gives you nothing and they SPAM you agressively. Finally when I wanted out it was a 29Day waiting period even though they had my money for 3 years.

Hidden fees – The platform displays your “unrealised profit” and this may lead you to believe that’s your profit but it’s not….. far more fees exist …. When you enquire with crypto.com what fees there are you get no response

Absolutely terrible, best stay away – Terrible customer service. My card stopped working and they say there's nothing wrong with it. Claim they can't see any errors, yet every merchant site errors. Misleading and Fraudulent Platform! – This Cripto.com is a misleading and fraudulent cripto exchange platform. Their fees are so high, they can even charge you 20% in fees, which is not what their website fees info says.

Crypto.com are criminals. They extort money from you – I have just had crypto mis-placed (stolen) by crypto.com. They can restore it to me for a price. If I don't pay I won't get my crypto back. This is criminal activity, pure extortion.

Exorbitant fees and no transparency – Withdrawed 0.0006 BTC but had to add 0.006 to reach the limit only to realise the withdrawal fee was 0.0006. No refund or gesture from customer care

GOD! the verification process is so bad. I have more than $20k and I can not access it. They won't tell me why or anything, but just one thing, they demand you take a video with your full name, today's date and a unique code that they give you in the email. They give you 15 minutes to shoot the video email them. Then they say we have forwarded your vidoe to another department for verification. Then they say your video was not approved, so you need to record and send another video in 15 minutes. This keeps happening.

When I asked for a reason, they don't give you reasons, but that your video was not approved, please send a new one. No matter how perfect you make it they just say no that is not suitable. It is a total and utter con job!

Customer service nightmare – It takes a lot to make me write a review. I'll spare you the details and the pain and just say that I have never experienced a more poorly run company than these guys. I complied with above, but a different agent replied, he told me the price would be AUD70, I told him I was already told AUD50 and I agreed to that fee, I even supplied a screenshot of the one day old email which stated AUD50, he would not budge. After several emails I told him their website say SGD50 which equates to about AUD50. He replied "yes you can pay with SGD50 instead of AUD70"..... Seriously? I tell him I'll top up the card with SGD50, he tells me to send him an email once that's done.

So I top my card up with SGD50 as requested then email him. He then says I need to verbally agree to the charge, I comply, he tells me to do this in the app not over email, I comply, I then get asked to confirm my address, I comply, then get asked for proof of address no older than 90 days.

It's the same address I've already done this for.

At this point I'm starting to think they're taking the p***, and I have given up.

You still pay monthly Spotify and Netflix subscription, you have money on the card. They deduct the subscription fee & reimburse you the equivalent amount in CRO currency (just hodl it). So in theory you pay your subscription still but they give you free amount in tokens lol.... pretty cheeky but I can live with that.

Ppl having issues with hidden fees, transaction issues… it’s about your workarounds… When you have additional external wallets (find the ones with ZERO or low gas fees on transfer). It’s not that serious… I can move all assets on and off CRO platform with no issues. You top up your card with AUD directly from bank... so no you don't have to sell CRO to do purchases... no ATO issues, I've done tax yearly. Not a problem

The smart thing to do would be to borrow against your digital assets to use for payments similar to borrowing against your home's equity. Not only do you avoid a tax event you get to keep your digital assets. The only company I'm aware of that allows this in their proposed credit card is Nexo but as it is a complex model they haven't rushed out to release a card as yet. I would still use Crypo.com only to earn the high interest they offer.

I have fast customer service as I am a private member (icy white).

I cannot find a more competitive product. This is the only card I use now. Although there are a few cashback restrictions such as utility bills and healthy insurance, these are not eligible for the cashback rewards but for grocery and other spending I always use this card to get 5% discount.

The product and team still have much to improve, there is no rolling balance feature and the company needs to work on communicating updates properly. I would recommend this to friends and family however with caution as they are a new company and things can change suddenly. However if the core concepts and rewards do not change I cannot see myself using another card.

Worth it for the free crypto and the card that can use the crypto to spend anywhere plus the card is a fancy and metal – Sign up is a bit slow but still easy.
