I love my Crypto.Com credit card
I applied for my card in late October 2020 and received it in early February 2021.
Before I received the card I was feeling discouraged, but held off giving any bad reviews until I actually received the card. I asked support several times when I would get my card, but they couldn't tell me, the support was always fast and courteous, but the card arrival issue was really wearing on me. On top of that, the CRO I had staked to get my card was falling in value.
When the card finally arrived, I tried it out and all my reservations changed into e...xcitement. Soon after the price of CRO went up and I went into profit. I put some ETH & BTC on the card app as a spending account, and went shopping, did my weekly supermarket shop, bought some clothes, went out to lunch and dinner, got my free Netflix, and after that my balance was higher than before I went spending, mostly due to ETH & BTC increasing in value during that time, but also CRO, and of course the cash-back you get for most spending transactions. The ease of use of the app is top notch once you've done it a few times you can top up your card in under a minute. Even though my experience was negative to begin with, I'm still giving this 5 stars as it is hands down the best credit card I have ever had, and this is also ground breaking use case for crypto, allowing me to spend my crypto whenever I want, where ever I want, and right now I can't think of many ways to make this any better.
Worth it for the free crypto and the card that can use the crypto to spend anywhere
Sign up is a bit slow but still easy.
Then you need approx. $400-$500 depending on exchange rate.
That aside, the benefits of the card is great and the app works great for buying and staking for bonus interest rates (way better than bank rates)
Compounding effect is faster than drip on stocks.

Customer service with Crypto.com is extremely poor.
- On one occasion, I submitted a question, then another follow up question. They dismissed my first question and only answered my follow up question.
- On another, they took two weeks to respond to a message I sent about a technical issue, but only shortly after a follow up message. In their response, they just apologised for the delay, and dismissed my query.
- On yet another occasion, I've sent through a query about my account and I have not received a response (it's been almost 2 weeks now).
Their sign up process is also pretty bad/slow:
- They ask for a lot of information, more than what you'd give to sign up for a bank....- First stage involves a selfie and a of a driver's licence or passport. - Next stage if approved, you have the option to start staking once you've picked your card. - Once that happens, they then ask for even more ID (which should have been done prior to staking) - needing proof of address and country of residence (bill with your address + passport). - Review on usage - Rewards were great, with 2% rebates on purchases (and 10% on selected merchants) - In September, they forced everyone to switch over from their existing MCO coins to CRO coins, with zero notice. They only emailed after they forced the change. The conversion rate put everyone at a loss. They offered a "bonus" if you did the switch by a particular date, but it was still a loss with the bonus. - They've now excluded many essentials categories from rebates. And they never sent out any communications about it. I only found out on social media. - The price of CRO keeps dropping and is basically what it was 6 months ago. Clearly some of their business decisions are impacting this hard.
