top surface, as opposed to sharp metal safely recessed along the inside of the can by openers that cut the lid between the lid and outside surface. A design too clever by half. Fervently not recommended.

Absolute garbage, cog skids across the can causing the blade to cut erratically…I’ve tried using it a number of times on different tins, same result always. Almost sliced my fingers open tonight trying to get the lid of a tin of tuna. It’s in the bin now where it belongs.

Useless after gripping wheel wears slightly – The gripping wheel has worn after a couple of years and now cannot grip & rotate the can being opened. Show details

Worst can opener invented and most expensive – After our original fantastic MagiCan wearing out I replaced it with what looked like a newer updated model called EasiCan from our local supermarket. one and went and purchased another one from the supermarket which was now called MagiCan again. Stupid me I should have learnt the first time as this ones no better. A note on the bench from my husband this morning saying “both can openers are in the rubbish bin, couldn’t open my lunch”

Used to be a good purchase - not any more – Were good when I was young - now crap. Bought it thinking it would be better than the $2 shop nasty one. Not even close. USELESSSS doesn't even start describing it. Such a shame because it used to be brilliant product. Crap now

Useless for opening cans – I have purchased two of these openers, they are both useless as a can opener after a short while of use. Do not waste your time with this product, not fit for purpose.

Extremely poor quality – Excellent landfill, terrible can opener. May have successfully opened 5 cans before becoming more and more useless. It has done very little work and is already incapable of fulfilling its one purpose in life.

EasiCan Can Opener - Excellent – After returning my electric can opener which was useless, and having bought many manual openers, I finally found one that works and works well without any effort. This opener is a little beauty, the EasiCan Can Opener (manual) bought from Big W for $12 is easy to use, light in the hand, and does the job well.
