D-Link mydlink Mini Wi-Fi Smart Plug DSP-W118

I have buyer's remorse. Not as compact as it claims to be – 1. I also have the tp-link smart plugs so comparing the d-link in terms of functionality, they are the same so no negatives about functionality 2. The iOS app for tp-link was simple to use even without reading manuals. The d-link smart plugs however was confusing to use and configure. I had to google videos on how to setup a schedule. 3. Not as compact as one would think. It is definitely vertically compact compared to others but it's width (where it really counts), you cannot fit two of these side-by-side on a standard double power outlet. I bought 4 of these. I regret buying them. The claims of being compact was my reason for wanting to replace my tp-link smart plugs.

Expensive – As part of my mission to convert my household premises towards a smart home through the popular usage of voice-activated compatible devices. This product is perfect based on a number of aspects: - its small size and hence a small foot-print - very easy to install, set-up and activate whether with a smart device or by voice - automatically reconnects to the network should there be a power failure or a broadband disconnection

The negatives: - D-link application a bit finicky to use - price

I would probably buy more, if the pricing was better or at the very least in a bundle buy.
