Dell Inspiron 24 5000

2 in 12 months - faulty screen – The computer is great, however the screens don't last long before they become faulty. The first had stripes form up and down the screen and it was replaced within a short time of ownership. Less than 12 months later, the screen is going again with a 10cm wide faded section from top to bottom that pulse fades. The computer has been great otherwise. Now we have to go through the process of getting a replacement, which we don't want as they don't even last the 12 months.

This is a fantastic AIO Desktop! – Originally, I purchased the 21.5" Apple Mac which was nearly twice the price of this Dell by the time I added extra storage etc. but despite it looking fantastic, I returned it on Apple's generous 14 day return policy as I found it sluggish, with intermittent keyboard to screen lag and the no touchscreen drove me nuts! Once you have had the convenience of a touchscreen it's very hard to go without it! Also, I found the keyboard shortcuts on the Mac to be too lengthy compared to Windows shortcuts.

After much research I found Dell to be the king of AIO Desktop computers, sporting the best reviews by far so I took advantage of Dell's 'Friday 13th' sale and saved over $400 on the 'Dell Inspiron 24 5000 (5400) AIO Desktop 11th Generation i7' which is normally $2,199.00 but was $1,759.00 on sale. I give it 4.5/5 stars, only losing 1/2 a point for not being as aesthetically pleasing as the Apple Desktops. It's 2020 so a modern design is required guys but well done on producing such a fantastic AIO Desktop computer. :)

NOTE: It would make life a LOT easier for consumers if there was a CLEAR product code for each device, as it gets very confusing when researching i.e. Inspiron 24 5000 or 5400??? Both product codes seem to refer to this same device.
