Pretended to be uber then charged me $106 for a $25 ride
SCAMMER!! Pretends to be UBER and then asks you to pay him directly. My fault that I didn't check the eftpos machine, but charged me double the fee we agreed upon. This scumbag should be shut down
My driver I believe forgot to start his meter When I got to my destination he charged me $112 I feel I got ripped off here and he added on more $$$ Stay with Ubers better rates
SCAM ARTIST ALERT – Same as other people. Complete and utter scam artist and I encourage everyone to lodge a complaint about him. He took me and my family the long way to dinner in the city but worse is he even then charged this 11 dollar surcharge except didn't tell me. He showed me the meter at $18 and then put it in the machine as charge $29but covered the machine… Read more
so I couldn't see and when you're rushing out with a baby He has just taken advantage of that and our family. He'll just shut down this business soon enough and open another one under a different name not doubt. Hat to think what he is doing to older or vulnerable clients.
Rip off – I got ripped off $35 from this scum bag. He told it was a government charge
Dont trust, dodgy extra fees – The driver ended the trip and added $11 fee, he told me it was a 'Silver Service Surcharge' the taxi was derelict, so I suspected this was not a Silver Service Taxi, when he driove away, I noticed the taxi was not, in fact, Silver Service. The receipt said Dilma Taxi. Dont trust.
Biggest scammer of all times! – Absolute scammer! I was about to order a cab from DiDi from the airport. The DILMA TAXI driver was standing there offered a ride and requested not to book directly from there but pay him exactly the same amount I see on the app. Considering these corporation takes a large cut from the drivers I said ok to help this guy. Once we were on the… Read more
highway he started showing his true colors and asked me 40% higher fair than I saw on the app. As per him, toll fair, petrol, gst and card transaction fee is separate from the fair. When confronted, he got offended and started being rude with me, said I don’t know how uber or didi works and they also charge these separately. I was with my wife and my 2 year old and he took the opportunity to extort money from us. Being in that situation I had to pay him extra. Horrible experience and in my life I would not even try or help any of the uber or didi driver.
A Dodgy Taxi Nobody Should Get In – I was traveling from Parliament House to Exhibition Street on a weekend in September 2024. The taxi (Vehicle number: M1568, Driver ID 523286, on the receipt it shows DILMA TAXI, M2125, Pascoe Vale VIC 3044.) picked me up and as soon as I got in and closed the door, the driver said that he won't use the taxi meter as it's only a short distance, but… Read more
he'll charge me a fixed fare of $20 instead. I was shocked by that, as well as by the absolute filthy condition in the taxi, especially in the back seat and on the floor - There were rubbish all over the floor and food crumbs in the back seats... It almost like someone had been living in that taxi. The driver was chatting on his phone to somebody in a foreign language the whole time. I still managed to negotiate the price while he was on the phone though, but the driver only agreed to lower the fare to $15. As soon as we were close to my destination I couldn't wait to jump out of that filthy taxi.
Scam drivers at uber pickup Melbourne airport – Picked me up from Melbourbe airport pretending to be uber and charged exorbitant fee which he claimed was prestige fee (not stated prior to trip) and wouldn't put it through the app then could not provide a tax invoice when I pressed him. Blue car, the charge on my bank account associated with Dilma Taxi in Pascoe Vale VIC but when called the… Read more
number the guy said there was a number mix up and to call another day and he can transfer me. Several reviews on various websites cite similar experience.
Safety concerns also as he almost collided head on with a 4wd in an intersection when he tried to cross incoming traffic to turn/didn't give right of way and his dashboard had 3 emergency/warning lights on so his car wasn't safe for travel either by the looks.
Essentially, don't jump in a car at Melbourne airport unless you booked it on the app and it matches the details.
Beware – Got ripped off at Tullamarine with a $74 fare to North Melbourne. Pretending to be an Uber.
Dishonest and dangerous driver – Hailed a cab. Driver did not wait for seat belt in back to be extricated from where it wasstuck behind the seat. After a kilometre when the seatbelt alarm annoyed him he stopped and kept the meter running while we fixed it. He took a ridiculous route an dcharged $100 for a 21km trip, adding an $11 charge at the end to the lone female remaining… Read more
passenger with the claim that he was 'silver service'. The receipt claims he picked us up from ahospital and delivered us to a hospital. Neither of which is true. Vehicle number 2737M, Driver ID 666784
Overcharged – Charged over $35 for a 1.2km trip after a night out at a nightclub. What an absolute crook taking advantage of a female! These types of experiences making me want to walk home!
