Disney+ technology crew don't cater to public needs
I have four internet TVs in my house, two of which were Android based TVs purchased specifically last Christmas for Disney+ for my children for the school holiday period. They are TCL 32 inch TVs highly recommended and purchased at The Good Guys.
Three TVs in total do not work for Disney+ at all (including one LG purchased in 2015). Hence only one LG TV works for Disney+ of the four.
For the TCL TVs, there is lag or no sound for most Disney+ programs. Occasionally there is music or animal sounds (background track) but nothing when people/...main characters speak. Quite useless. All four TVs work for superior Netflix. Disney+ is sorely disappointing. I had high expectations, considering we should have up to four devices working under the Disney+ yearly plan. In this day and age of recycling and trying to keep up with technology, and even the cost of two brand new TVs four weeks ago, Disney+ really does not support our needs. Apps are not available on all LG devices nor other brands including TCL. More is expected and needs to be done by their tech team.

I did the 7 day trial and every movie and TV show has out of sync audio and this makes most of the stuff unwatchable for me. Today I tried to log in and the log in button refuses to work. I checked a website showing Disney Plus outages and it confirmed a lot of people having the same problem. I also read a BBC article where they did an investigation of hacked Disney Plus accounts and found almost every account was being sold on the dark web. The selection seems to be limited to Disney content so less value then other streaming services who off...er more and varying content. My favourite streaming service so far has been Stan and a large reason for that is the content and the ability to select quality. I select low quality to conserve data, because I don't have unlimited internet. I think this is an essential feature for all streaming services yet only Stan has it. I will not be continuing my subscription.
Constant errors mainly 83, it seems to be a wide spread issue with the main problem being "too many accessing the site" will crash through movies and then when you can get the page to load, it took 10+ mins in my case, the screen was just black refreshing wouldn't do anything, the "resume" button would just play the movie from the start again, yes it's still a new service and there will be problems at the start but for a company as big and wealthy as Disney they rushed this out of the box way to early as alot in the USA can't even access the si...te either and have "way" more issues than we here in oz. Will i keep it . . . . . . . hmmmmm the content does make you revisit the first times you watch these classics and as many have said you've no doubt seen a good 95% before so it's far from new but i think i will keep it for another month and see if the situation improves if not well . . . . .i still have Netflix.

If you are into Disney...
I am considering getting the one-year subscription after my 7-day trial: it could be nice for maybe going through all the Disney classics and Star Wars and/or Marvel franchise (there's also all the Simpsons seasons).
After that, I suppose they will have had time to add new material and I will be able to assess whether it is worth renewing. It cannot, at this stage, replace another service like Netflix, but again, it is nice to go through all they currently have (which is obviously only Disney stuff!!!).
As for the connection issues (as ment...ioned in another comment): this works exactly like all other online services; i.e. it depends on your own circumstances. As far I am am concerned: no issues whatsoever! (on a 40Mbps NBN HFC). Streams perfectly!
