Absolutely pathetic service. Booked at 9am Sunday for an in-person appointment. Called at 8pm as had no contact and wanted to see what was going on. Was told doctor would be with us between 4am and 8am Monday morning when he starts work. Waste of time.

Complete waste of time and money! Not to mention misdiagnosis. As a result my husband is looking forward to months of nerve pain from shingles. Never again. Would rather wait in Emergency for 8 hours than use this service again.

Incredibly mid. I have tonsillitis and was advised by a nurse practitioner from Abby to seek out another antibiotics script if symptoms returned after finishing my amoxicillin. Since my symptoms came back after hours, I opted for Dr Dr. During my first consult I was hung up on 3 times and was told I missed my appointment. I joined the queue… Read more

again, finally got onto somebody and started chatting.

I'm nonbinary and was immediately asked "are you a boy or a girl" to which I said that's a weird and unnecessary question and that I'm nonbinary. The Dr then went on a whole spiel about how it's "not a weird question and she needed to know". She didn't give me antibiotics and instead gave me a sore throat spray I could go buy a Coles anyway... Which isn't working. Because I have tonsillitis. And need antibiotics. Facepalm.

So yeah I went to follow up on previous advice and was hung up on, asked about my junk for no reason, then given nothing of value lol.

Incredibly rude – Dismissed so quick when I mentioned having pain that I need to go see a doctor in person. What he failed to understand if he didn’t hang up on me so quick is that the doctors in my area book out a week in advance. I have a baby I can barely pick up, rude and no help at all. Will not be using the service again.

Pizz poor – The Dr prescribed a medication that's been discontinued for Years & I did tell him I thought that. He was then unreachable. The receptionist couldn't understand my English properly she kept asking if I needed an appointment. I needed the correct meds & rang elsewhere.

These people are grossly incompetent – OK the local doctor is out of town for a month and I need a few prescription drugs - kind of urgently and so I made the effort to see what all the excitement is about and contacted them for more prescriptions. And these are standard "long term" medical drugs... for conditions of long standing and presumably for a long time to come. You know… Read more

things like Blood pressure, diuretics', blood sugar control etc.

I also despise the idea of doling out ONE prescription, one at a time, every month, month after month, for many months - I'd rather just get a prescription for 5 repeats and under Schedule 24 so I can buy up multiple prescriptions at the same time, rather than making a long trip to the chemist every month, month after month etc...

It just seems to be a lot less bull-shoot doing it like this.

And this is the way I Have been doing it for years.

I text the doctor the list of drugs I need prescriptions for, he loses his mind, and tells me Oh I can only do them for ONE month.... I tell him, "These are not prescriptions for a trucking heroin habit".

He flips out, loses his mind, carries on with his "OH don't know you, blah blah blah" - and hangs up.

I mean he could have checked that I am on these drugs and have been for a LONG time....

This is not me doing the equivalent of diving into drunken Aunty Florence's medicine cabinet full of head meds, to compliment the cheap box wine she guzzles by the cask full every day.

These are keep you alive and functioning type drugs.

The service is nonsense and the Doctor was LAZY and INCOMPETENT.

This gets better.

They have a 132660 phone number.

They only operate from 6pm to 9am.... After hours and all night.

They have a recorded answering machine...

If you call them during the day, they tell you to call back when they are open - 6pm to 9am.

If you call them during the night, they tell you to call them back during the day.

LOL = Priceless.

No Doctor – I found Doctor Doctor in a state of desperation, I’d experienced 7 days of illness and couldn’t book any local GP for days. Pretty sure I needed antibiotics I filled in the online booking form and had confirmation I would hear from someone within 30 mins (I assumed to triage me). That was 24 hours ago… After reading other reviews I decided not to… Read more

waste my energy following up as it seems a common occurrence. The idea of this service is excellent but there’s no actual service ….

Rude, dismissive doctor, script never arrived – My GP was closed for Easter & connected to this service so I booked an Telehealth appointment. I said what I needed (a script for Covid antivirals), waited 2.5 hrs for a call back, only to be told rudely that he didn’t know me, how did he know if my stated medical history was true, maybe I wasn’t eligible (ok, so why did I have to wait 2.5hrs to… Read more

be told this?). I tried to ask a question, he cut me off aggressively saying several times “DO YOU UNDERSTAND???”, yep, I did, I repeated what he said. He agreed to email a script to my chemist but said it might cost me $1200, I txted proof of current meds showing my eligibility for the antivirals, the script never arrived at the chemist’s email. I texted the doctor, he told me to check the details, they were correct, the script never arrived so no antivirals for me. I’m still sick 10 days later with Covid, it’s been a nightmare.

Horrific experience – I recently went to a GP practice in Long Gully. I was extremely unwell and the receptionist was very kind. I coughed once and a doctor rushed it in a biohazard coat and ushered me out of the waiting room. I was told I shouldn’t be there by Australian law?! I asked the receptionist why I was being treated like that and she looked shocked and said… Read more

she had no idea… she didn’t know what was happening. When the same doctor came out, she had on a biohazard scrubs, a mask, a shield and gloves. I was treated like a leper. Told to face away from her and cover my mask with my hand because of the gap in the side when she looked at my ear?! Face the wall when she checked my breathing. She didn’t give me antibiotics for my bad infection, she gave me a certificate for days I’m NOT at work and was extremely rude and unhelpful and stated that “it wasn’t any fun for her wearing the outfit and Melbourne was much better as I shouldn’t be there (at practice) and they send you straight to a respiratory clinic instead.” An atrocious and very upsetting experience. This person should not be practicing or treating unwell patients like that!

I cannot fault their kindness, compassion and understanding.. Very professional – My only concern is as with the other home dr services they do not have enough drs to come out. But that is totally understandable with the current circumstances with this aweful coronavirus

Useless, time wasters and liars – I called Doctor Doctor at 6pm, I was in a very bad state and made them aware, they promised me within 30 minutes. 1 hour later I called and informed them of my situation, again, 30 minutes, 4 calls later and over 3;30 hours later of waiting, all they could offer was a phone chat from a Doctor. They only visit you if you on way of other patients… Read more

and they keep you on hold until it’s worth heading to your suburb but best and laziest way for them is to phone call check up. They are liars… go any where but don’t contact them.

Thanks doctor – Dr. Jin Hui Lu is a very caring doctor. She listens carefully to any concerns and symptoms, and examines me thoroughly. She saves my life because she can give me the correct diagnosis. Also, she is friendly and kind to me and my wife, who genuinely cares for her patients. Highly recommended Dr.Lu. Show details

Worst doctor I have ever seen – The doctor name is Jin Hui Lu, very rude, disrespectful and Racist. Even though we are living in 21st century. I can not believe this happens in front of my children. I hope that other patients don’t experience what we had to go through. Peace

Abysmal - what a waste of taxpayer money – Multiple engagements online and on the phone to learn that there are no doctors in my area - which is the point of the service! Couldn't believe it. I've lost faith

Worst doctor I’ve ever had – Absolutely the worst consultation I’ve ever had. The doctor didn’t give me a chance to answer any of his questions and just kept speaking over the top of me, then left as quickly as he could. He didn’t appear to care about the health of my little one at all.

Professional service. 1hr wait, Melb SE Suburbs Monday 9pm – Totally positive experience compared to some other reviews. Maybe its location, maybe it was a busy night for them, dont know, but smooth as silk for me. Booked online 9pm Monday 28th Jan (tried the phone line first but online booking was faster) Pros: - Confirmation within 10 mins of assigned doctor - Call from doctor when 15 mins away -… Read more

Professional service, great bedside manner for my 5yo boy, great doctor. - Bulk billing so no out of pocket when medicare card details put into online booking

Cons: - This is minor - No ETA on arrival. Initial booking provides no guide for how long the wait/queue is, so you are initially a bit in the dark.

Only ETA was when the doctor called to say 15 mins away. Not a big issue in my case as it was less than an hour between booking and arrival but I can imagine if you are waiting around for 2 hours with no ETA it could be frustrating, especially if you have a sick kid that you are trying to keep calm during the wait.

4 Stars - would be 5 stars if they could provide a maximum wait time ETA on booking.

Inconsiderate service – Booked a "service", online waited for 3-4 hours, also had to dial back to give exactly the same information entered online. Then I got sms saying the doctor cannot find carpark except for three blocks away, so they need to find another doctor... Really? So when the doctor arrived, she cannot be bothered sending me sms to ask me if I could help… Read more

with car park? (My car park at home is free, there is a small shopping centre about 3-4 minutes walk, and there is an area 6 minutes walk away from me which should be free of cars at the hour of visit) Instead, she choose to call back to the company saying she cannot find a place to park her car and chose to leave the site.

So this company want me to wait another 3-4 hours for another doctor, who may or may not turn up? I am really surprised that this company would accept an excuse like this.

Imagine you hire a plumber, he arrived on site and inform the head office he cannot find a car park, never bothered contacting you and just leave. How would you or anyone feel about this kind of service?
