Dollar Shave Club

I've been a member for about a decade (through a couple of different accounts). I placed an order and went several weeks without fulfillment, when I followed up, it took about a week for them to respond, with no make good, no solution, just confirmation of data they already have.

Avoid at all cost. There is a reason why these razors are not as expensive as known brands, because they are absolutely a waste of money. Don't waste your time and money to subscribe! It is junk and you will regret it.

New blades are horrible. I used to use their products a while ago and they were excellent. I went back to them to order some more and was shocked at how poor quality they have gotten. But yet the price has gone up. Also, shipping times were abysmal. This was not the fault of Auspost as in the tracking it took a long time for my product to actually even be packed to go the Auspost. Will not order from them again.

Fabulous product. I have been using them for many years. Probably about 10 but what's best about them os their customer service. They are so respectful and fast to respond while always getting the job done. Love this company!

Works for me, no issues – I am at a slight loss to understand the negative reviews. I have been using DSC for about 4 years now with barely a hitch. blades arrive every month. Who cares if it takes 3 weeks to arrive as long as shipment is regular. I keep at least 2 months of blades and a spare handle. New blades arrive monthly.

The only other product I use the the after shave dew. I like it. But that's a pretty crowded market segment.

So, if you can get a little organised then this mob can work for you. Recommended!

creams are also fantastic. Even the humble toothbrush , at first looks pricey, but the quality of bristles lasts for months. I also highly recommend their aftershaves. They are long lasting and unique. I've always received compliments when wearing them. Product delivery takes 4-7 days. It pays to bulk buy as you receive good discounts. Highly recommended shaving and grooming company.

Used to be amazing, great blades smoothest cut. Since the change in blades, they are blunt, will cut your skin but not your hair. After about 10 years using the executor blades, I have cancelled as the new club series blades are useless

Used to be good then they changed their blades. They’re terrible now. Don’t last and can’t give a clean beard line at all, it’s all rough and messy. Will be investigating other options.

If I could give zero stars I would. Absolutely appalling customer service when I received incorrect blades that I had not ordered an apart of my subscription and did not fit my handle. will get any kind of response. The asked for photo evidence 3 times of what I had received (I supplied it once and then reminded them they already had it) and still would not acknowledge their error - told me the blades I ordered would not fit the old style handle (I didn’t order the old style blades!!!). Amongst all of this back and forth they kept sending “rate our service” emails even though nothing had been resolved. After more than 3 weeks of back and forth they told me that because I didn’t contact them it 30 days of my order they would not honour a refund. I didn’t need the blades before then, why should I be penalised for their mistake just because it took me a couple of weeks to discover it?? Absolutely appalling “customer service”

Team what were you thinking - unfortunately I used my last 'old style' blade last week - started with the new blades this week - I would rather shave a BIC Disposable razor than use this new blade - it is horrible - If you ever change back to the old style let me know - I will be back but until then my subscription is cancelled

Used to be great, now rubbish – Blades are absolute rubbish now. They fall off mid shave, no where near as sharp as previous and shipping times are a joke. Just cancelled subscription after 10 years.

Disappointed – The new razors are not great quality and don’t provide the same great shave the heritage blade did. Please, please bring back the heritage series. I cannot return as a customer until then.

Terrible product since takeover – When Unilever bought DSC, I expected it to get worse l but not much had changed during their tenure. Once they sold it to some capital management company, things got really bad, really fast. Congrats to the execs of Nexus Capital who thought it'd be a good idea to save 45c per blade by replacing their razors with airline butter knives.

Waste of money – The 4 and 6 blade razors are just terrible. I'm a bald guy that was looking to find an affordable way to shave, but these are just a waste of money. The blades detach and fall off mid stroke so often, you can't even finish the shave.

Disappointing Decline in Blade Quality and Attachment – The quality of the blades has significantly declined; they no longer stay securely attached to the handle.

New blades are rubbish – Have been buying dollars shave blades for years, they were the best blades around! Now they’re absolute rubbish! Won’t be buying them again or recommending anyone anymore. Why do these companies change their products?? Note to ceo “if it’s not broken don’t fix it”! Very disappointed

folliculitis so been changing blades every shave it feels worse than a disposable Bic, gonna have to cancel my subscription really soon and go back to main brands or a nice safety razor, dollar shave club has turned to dollar store shaving crap.

To those who have made it to the end of my review and are looking for a budget friendly option id highly recommend Double edge safety razor best shave I've had in years no irritation or shaving rash and super cheap for blades @ $1.50 -3.50 for 5-10

Dollar shave club a scam – This is not .....please understand this is not the dollar shave club of past. This is a china knock off company that steals your money. The products they send are truly garbage. Products recieved are not products in pictures. The razors will tear your face up. This is a real scam company please beware.

Don't do it – Don't do it, they changed the razor heads and they are terrible, gave them a good trial to try and not matter how I try they do not give a good close shave, they heads pop of the handle without warning. All round poor design

than the previous. I heard many other bad reviews about the new blades but I still bought a set to try to them. And they were decent but nowhere as good as the original one. I will not be continuing with the subscription, at least until when I find a better alternative.

Something needs to change – Bring back the old razors, the club razors are rubbish! agree with all the other reviews. I cancelled today... I guess I am back to the old mach 3's

New razors are hopeless – The new razors are awful!! They used to be great and these ones are painful to get out of the box and do NOT do a clean shave. We’ve cancelled our subscription. Disappointed!!

The worst blades and razor – Same as the other reviews. The previous blades and razor were very good. The new blades and razor do not shave very well at all. They leave hairs behind on your face and takes 5 times longer to complete a shave. Very disappointed.

Don’t waste your money – If I could give less that a 1 star I would! The shaver used to be amazing, the handling the razor itself everything was great. Now the razor is incredibly difficult to install, falls off within moments of attempting a shave and doesn’t shave nearly as good or close as the previous design. I canceled the subscription because I feel it was a complete waste. I also don’t recall ever being informed of the change over or “new improved design”.

Disappointed on the new products! – I got forced into buying the new razor! it is cheap and the shave leaves me like a cactus, also doesn't matter what I use it feels like it is dragging against my skin and not gliding how it should! my old blade I have on my old razor has been on there for months and I still get a better shave then this new crap, definitely gone cheap on the product and upped the price even the aftercare products have gotten smaller
