This company took about 5 calls for them to answer. But the number that called me back was from Sydney. We organised for a “technician” to come out the next day. All good so far. The “technician” called me the next day and told there would be an $80 + GST call out cost. So I told him to forget it. The next day I called the number in Sydney… Read more

and complained that I was not told about the call out fee. He told me it was $69. So the “technician” is making some money on the side. So all in all. They don’t answer the phone promptly. They try and charge you extra hidden fees. DONT NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Their are dishonest.

We had a broken spring and our previous service technician was unable to attend so I called Door and Roll and the technician advised he could be there that afternoon at 5:30pm which was great. serviced which is understandable and was quoted price of $950 which I was a little hesitant to agree to but agreed to it as he was there. To my surprise I was then charged $1045 as the quote was ex GST.

The job was completed and technician did a great job on the door itself but unfortunately there were several marks left on the walls which we only recently had painted.

OUR HORROR STORY..., we had a roller door spring break and we always like to get local advertised help. Rang Door and Roll Jimboomba and a bloke called [Name Removed] turned up. turned up, stated he could fix straight away and gave me a price which at the time I thought was a little expensive, but hey, [Name Removed] is the professional and I'm not (trust that he is looking after you) [Name Removed] was here 30 minutes and job done, presented me the bill for $1098 [Content Removed]. I ask [Name Removed] to break the bill down. He told me the roller was $375 and you always need to replace both, not sure if that is true or not, so $750 for the two rollers??? I made an inquiry to Gliderol Garage Doors, the 2 rollers retail (not wholesale) for $230 a pair and [Name Removed] is charging me $750. I explained his price was wrong and that it was a blatant RIP OFF. Tommy argued the point and I refused to pay until the bill was corrected. A bloke [Name Removed] called me to work this issue out and after some discussion and I sent him the snapshot of the Gliderol price.Leon offered me a $350 discount, now that is an admission of GUILT. While [Name Removed] was a good help, I cannot give any praise or recommendation to [Name Removed] and I will NEVER refer Door and Roll. Thanks for reading my story, Glenn

Steve arrived as he said he would - in 15 minutes. The garage door is not a sectional modern one and was not closing. Steve quoted the cost and I was happy with that and he sorted out the problem. The door had never shut flush with the side wooden brackets and now it does. So I am very happy with the repairs and the repairer. Show reply

I would like to thank Steve who went above and beyond the call of duty. My remote wouldnt open or close the door. He came out at 7.30 pm and spent 2.5 hours trying to rectify the problem but couldnt get it to work. He tried several different ideas but finally said I'll be back tomorrow. purchased and was here for 1.5 hours. His idea was successful . He also serviced the door and the door has never been better. He was never going to give up until he solved the problem.
