Have had x10 for about 3 years now and love it. It has very little use only 55 km(long story for little use)but kept up with using it and charging it religiously but two weeks ago I used it and there was light rain but had it under carport. I was riding on the wet lawn and when finished wiped it down. Went to put it on charge now there is no power at all and can't charge Had a look at the battery,looks ok but noticed a hole behind the front wheel where the cable's from the ignition switch and speedo go. From the factory they have put black silicon to stop water from entering the battery compartment . It had left a 7 mm hole for water or dirt to enter,so obviously the battery isn't ok now . Now I'm up for new battery at the cost of around $1000. So not happy Jan and the star experience is 2 for that reason

Commuter King – Buying a scooter to replace the daily commute by car meant that there was an abundance of choices. What made the Dragon X10 attractive was the fact you can buy it from a shop front that is run by enthusiasts, who live and breathe these machines. Not to say that there isn’t shops for E Scooters, there’s plenty, but Dragon is the new kid on the block. Being a comparatively new brand, the piece of mind of being able to fix faults without excessive freight costs is reassuring. Also makes the machine a little lighter on the wallet.
As mentioned in the previous review, this is not a beginners E scooter, and like a car or motorcycle, can be dangerous to inexperienced riders.
Commuting daily, unless it rains (no water rating for the X10 unfortunately) at a distance of 30k round trip, the ride is enjoyable and comfortable. Brisbane's paths are brutal on the wheels so using bike lanes more often than paths is a logical choice. Puncture liquid added to the tubes is a must unless one content in patching tubes constantly.
It’s comfortable to ride with the suspension and dual modes for battery endurance or ride speed. Follow states rules for PEVs and the E movement can grow without the possibility of future legislation limiting and hindering new users.
The Dragon X10 shares allot of components with a number of other brands so mods and parts along with upgrades are abundant. Not to mention a community of enthusiasts. I can’t praise the X10 enough and see the odometer exceeding 10k if not more. Buy it

Dragon Hunter X10 An Absolute Beast – The Dragon Hunter X10 is an absolute beast of a Scooter that isn’t for the faint of heart and not something a beginner should think of buying. The Dragon Hunter X10 is the same as the Zero 10X so spare parts and upgrades are readily available when it comes to repairs and maintenance which is great. I have done almost 700KMs in a short period of time and have had no issues with the scooter aside from the brakes which isn’t really an issue as they are easily maintained and serviced. They are pull wire driven (same as your push bike) however you can install Hydraulic Brakes making for a better responsive braking system which I will be doing soon.
It comes with 10” Road Tyres however can be changed over to All Terrain Tyres if you do wish which is what I have done just recently.
The handling is very good and can be upgraded to add on dampening to help with wobbles (due to hands/arms not being used correctly) which makes it safer while riding (even though it is safe to ride).
It comes in Red & Black fitted with a 23Ah Battery at 52v and gives the scooter a good torque.
It’s dual motors help with getting around much quicker then the standard single driven motor on most scooters. I cannot stress enough this is for slightly more advanced riders and not for learners.
I have absolutely loved my scooter and done some upgrades to the Suspension and Tyres next as above the Braking System.
All in all a very reliable safe scooter to ride everywhere which I do when I don’t need the car which saves hugely on Petrol for our cars.
Would highly recommend this scooter for those who are looking for a scooter which is suited for more advanced riders.
Oh and almost forgot (face palm) it also has Single and Dual Modes so you can run just the one motor (rear) or both (rear and front) it also has an Eco mode to reduce power to the wheel(s) allowing you for travel distance.
Scooter range is up to 85KM for the 23Ah (which is the version I have) scooter and around 50KM for the 18Ah battery. * Distance and Travel depends on weight of rider as well as other factors
Please also be reminded to look up the States Laws regarding scooter use before buying so you don’t get yourself into trouble. And as always safe scooting, enjoy and have fun
