Drill Battery

If I could, I would give it a ZERO star rating. Drill Battery had supplied the WRONG item ( was supplied a 2000mAh NiCd battery instead of A9282 3000mAh NiMH battery which is what was ordered and paid for! )and the customer was asked to return that wrong item but would NOT reimburse the cost of returning the WRONG item - even though the supplier… Read more
had agreed in writing to reimburse the return shipping cost. They also FAILED to supply the correct item which was actually ordered, even though their correspondence (only via email) had promised to do so. Totally unethical company practices and I do not recommend it to any buyers.
A scam, pure and simple – This company claims to be Australian, but the address on their website keeps changing. They are based in China using a number of Australian registered ABNs. They sell batteries under Drill Battery and also Cool Car Spare Parts, both registered to Chinese names. I ordered a simple small drill battery that never arrived. The seller lied a number… Read more
of times about delivery times, claiming there was a delay in Hong Kong even though they claim to sell from Sydney. (the same website also appears in the UK with many complaints) I finally got my refund from PayPal, but have since had the cheeky buggers try and scam me into re-paying for the product claiming that it was "successfully delivered, they are a small Australian company and I should have a heart and help them out with re-payment". They attached a photo of someone putting a battery into a letter box, but it wasn't my letter box. Good on them for trying to scam me a second time, got to give it to them for effort. If you work hard for your money, don't give it to these grubby ...
Brand stickers are fake. Items are generic Chinese copies which you can get cheaper on AliExpress – I paid $80 for a WORX fast charger. It wasn't, it's a cheap copy, and looked totally different from the image on the website. I assumed by purchasing from an Australian website meant I would at least get an Australian plug for the charger. Unfortunately not, it came with a US domestic plug, which means it's different voltage. No information on… Read more
the power adapter so I have no idea the amps, wattage or voltage range. I found what looks like the exact same charger on ebay for about $8.
Website shows branded batteries, but they ship generic rubbish batteries – Their website clearly shows branded batteries, but they shipped a generic battery that I can't use as I have to have certified equipment at the job site. No response when requesting to return. I paid with PayPal, so I raised a case for a refund.
Rubbish generic battery followed by poor service – Brought a generic battery for my Bosch equipment from Drill Battery and lasted 3 uses. Arranged to send back using their convoluted return system. Australia Post lost the return item as I don't think Australia Post can cope with returns going to a P.O. Box. There is no customer phone number and once Australia Post lost it, there was no further… Read more
follow up. Customer service is very poor coupled by a rubbish product. Suggest you look else were.
Milwaukee 18 volt drill – I use this drill every day in trade use. it gets a real work out. I have destroyed a couple of Hitachi ones in the past. Plenty of grunt. Metal gears. Brushless. Good work light built in. Ergonomic. Hammer, drill and torque clutch. 5 Ah battery has useable built in fuel gauge. Easy to remove battery pack. Not overly long. Good rugged trade… Read more
drill.
Negatives. The drill, hammer, screw adjusting ring is too easily adjusted accidently in normal use. As per most of these drills, the chuck leave a LOT to be desired. Not sure wether the extra cost for brushless is warranted as I have never had to replace brushes in other brands. Supposed to run cooler. Heavy.
