Too harsh for our princess, crap returns policy – We have a 3 year old Australian Shepherd. We want her to bark, but also want her to stop on command. She's very smart, we've just been a bit lax in that respect. We tried this collar on the lowest setting - after testing it on ourselves. Whilst we could barely feel it & thought it would be ok, the first time it went off she completely panicked. Slammed into walls, almost knocked herself out. Tried it a couple of times with similar results, and could not persist, especially after seeing her face spasm as if she was having a fit. This was on the LOWEST setting. It's obviously too much for our sensitive princess, and was VERY distressing to see. The company has a crap return / refund policy - if the box is open, or the product is used, you can't get a full refund. And charges apply for 'restocking, admin & handling, etc. You can only get a store credit to use towards much more expensive products, which we wouldn't even consider. The guy we spoke to on the phone said Australian consumer law doesn't cover 'change of mind' . I don't consider this change of mind, but haven't decided if it's worth the argument yet. They have no 'about us' page - it's an empty link, and various other issues with their website - I wish I'd looked into the company and products more carefully before my daughter purchased it.

Excellent – Bought one of these collars for my rescued GSD after a neighbour approached me complaining of consistent barking when I left for work at 06.30 every morning. This brilliant collar worked a treat and cured my dog after 48 hours of use. My other neighbour is a retired vet and he said he was shocked that I was able to prevent the barking so quickly. I never told him that it was a shock collar that cured the barking. I never used the ecollar on a higher setting tha 3 (9 being the highest and 1 being the lowest). What a brilliant investment. I swear by this product and have absolutely no hesitation it giving it the highest recommendation.
