Elephone Explorer S

Poor excuse for an action camera – I purchased this Elephone Explorer S camera to use on a drone. The specs read well, in fact, too well! but the reality was way different, to the uninitiated the video would be reasonable but nowhere near the alleged specs, Aberrations abound! and as an example, in video, the space in between, say, branches of trees etc,, would have a blueish tinge whilst the rest of the sky/background would appear normal. Even on stills the resolution was nowhere near the resolution of my SJ400 1080p camera that I've had for some time.

I spoke to a camera man friend of mine, been in the profession for decades, and we both agreed that it looked like some form of aberration perhaps lens, or the type when you turn up the edge enhancement in the software, anyway I complained to the company I bought it from, Gearbest, whom I sent video to, but they said to make a claim I would have to return the item at my cost which was damn near the cost of the camera! so I sent it to the company, Elephone, and yet to hear back from them, (I won't hold my breath!)

I decided to purchase the Elephone Explorer Pro as I thought it couldn't happen twice, but that's another story!
