EHI originally put in our front door flyscreen almost 30 years ago. We used them again and were just as pleased as the first time. Both the business owner who came and measured for the quote and Dave, the installer of a new guardsman and a new barrel and handle for another flyscreen, were great to deal with. Both men were really friendly and very efficient. I would definitely recommend EHI to anyone in the market for such installations.

the door sliding issue again. I asked if a call-out fee of $220 was still payable considering it had only been 3yrs and so the owner, Andrew FaceTime video called, telling me what I needed to do (unscrew the screws at the top of the door, lift the door, screw it back in, feel around for the rollers etc). But as soon as the call began, Andrew was unprofessional, condescending, hostile and frustrated in his tone. I questioned him on his unprofessional and rude behaviour to which he clearly could not control his temper and put the phone down on me - reiterating my point. After I called back, he became abusive and intimidating over the phone, swearing, raising his voice and speaking over me - completely unprofessional and never once apologising for it. He told me to look elsewhere and never call again. I am left shocked, angry and intimidated. I would never use this company again because of the man who owns it and their unreliable product.

REFUND PLEASE – We had a quote for $8000, which was accepted and deposit 50% ($4000) was made. Quote was subsequently amended by company for additional costs. emails/phone calls we are still waiting. It appears they want prompt upfront payment (their conditions) but when it comes around the other way. Tough luck. I probably would have continued with screen installation in the future, but after experiencing poor communication/action, there is no way I would engage this company. This is not a fake review, I am happy to provide evidence.

We could not recommend a more helpful or considerate person to complete the jobs than Dominic. Product is good, the measure and installation is woeful – We recently paid over $2,500 for a 2 panel security screen and track (for our stacker door), to be installed. The measure and quote was done, we accepted and paid the deposit. proceeded to cut the top off the powder-coated doors so that they would fit (so now the top edge is bare steel). We paid the final balance while install was being done (so were not in a position to hold back cash at that point) and once the installer had left we noticed a larger than ideal, gap under the door, which seems to be because he took too much off the top of the door so had to jack the door up on its wheels, which led to us to look more closely at the door and spot other issues including: the doors not being level, doors being out of line including the closing/locking edge, and large gaps around the fixed glass panel of the stacker door. I called and spoke to the Baulkham Hills office and was told that 'name' was a top installer, always did fantastic work and that he never made mistakes. A few phone discussions later and we are now getting additional 'fixes' done to the door, including elements to keep bugs from coming in the large gaps, but I can't help but think that they should eat the cost of a new door, because we did not pay a premium to have a hacked back door that needs to be fixed to be 'almost right'. A frankenstein of fixes it not the great door we believed we would get. Am I getting what I paid for? The short answer is no.

One of the BEST in the Blind Business – This little know company has to be one of the best providers of Blinds and Screens in Sydney. We had some shutters installed by EHI and they were reasonably priced with a great product and service. Ripped off by this trader who is TOTALLY unwilling to rectify the situation – We paid thousands of dollars ($2,200 + cost of track $900) to this company around 5 yrs ago for them to install stacker security doors onto a newly built investment property. They were paid for the half the cost of the track by the granny flat builder, half by us - then half of the cost of the security screens up front, the other half was paid… Read more

before they'd return to repair their original installation that was NEVER completed as they had run out of the parts so the doors have NEVER worked. Yes, a lot of water has gone under the bridge as we had a bad property manager who didn't follow them up it was only when after years of believing they had returned to the property and made good that we realised in fact we had paid all this money and the security screens hit on the handle of the stacker doors so can not open all the way only can open a third of the doors (rendering them as useless at keeping the insects out as the standard of the man who installed them!). We have appealed to them to do the right thing but they obviously can't make money out of us twice so just keep on making promises they don't keep. Fair Trading have tried to ensure they make contact to resolve the situation but they lie to them as well! Don't trust them there are others out there who have honour and if you're stuck I can recommend one to you that did all that they said they would first time around unlike this business - which we've found is nothing but full of disappointments - there are more honest people behind bars absolutely no morals.
