TV has good picture and sound, BUT I had major problem when try to record from "stand-by". With WiFi enabled, get error message asking to set a NON-EXISTENT menu item. Support suggested similar menu item, but STILL fails with ERROR messages. TV returned to supplier, who say no-fault-found, but eventually agreed to refund, as I supplied detailed evidence. Other errors/missing information in User Manual and www specification table. Little technical information on AVinput, audio/headphone output, etc.
Purchased in for $522.
A total waste of money and terrible after sales service. After deciding to upgrade from the ‘stock’ tv in our caravan I decided to purchase the Englaon 27 inch x90. Less than 9 months after purchasing it at a caravan and camping show the display suddenly developed strange lines across the screen which the manufacturer claims is not covered under warranty. Their assessment was made without them even physically inspecting the tv as they claim they diagnosed the issue from the photos I sent. My gripe is that this tv has been used less than 6 times and has always been stored in a protective bag with care and attention. I do not recommend buying this product for two reasons 1. The terrible after sales service and 2. Poorly designed product that should be designed to withstand travel in a caravan and last longer than 9 months especially given the price they are charging. Total fail Englaon!
Purchased in at Englaon for $549.
I bought this off the Englaon Ebay store. I paid just under $500. We spent a lot because we use our caravan a fair bit and wanted something decent. After reading a lot of reviews, we settled on this. Big mistake. The user experience is in no way easy. The menu is complex, the TV guide hard to work out and some apps are not available due to an old version of Chromecast being used. No Kayo! Now we have a hand sized screen bleed which is extremely distracting. This is a $150 TV at best.
