Decent picture but… – It is a decent unit, even projecting on to a standard painted wall however the fan is very loud. My biggest gripe is the cost of the replacement lamp. Despite what they say, these lamps have a relatively short lifespan before you have issues but the worst part is, is Epson Australia no longer stock the lamps themselves (when they did they cost… Read more

A$65) and replacement lamps purchased through third parties are about A$150 plus shipping. It has turned me off Epson products simply due to parts availability beyond 4-5 years.

Avoid Epson - Their support is the worst i have experienced – It's almost as if Epson setup their support service specifically to discourage you from using it. My experience: Lodge support request Told to enter 0000 as the password. Reply via email advising that I have entered 0000 already. Ticket closed as resolved. Receive an autoresponse email saying that they do not accept email submissions, even though… Read more

the email specifically says to reply via email (you need to lodge another request). I lodge another request, pasting the full history of the other ticket Advised to enter 0000, ticket closed as resolved. Reply via email advising that I have entered 0000 already Then asks for the serial number (again, i've already supplied it). Ticket closed as resolved. and so it goes on... Eventually they say they will call me within 24-48 hours (they don't). I email them asking whats going on, and they say they have already emailed me (they haven't) and that I should check my email. There is no reference to what was in the missing email, the ticket closed as resolved...

Avoid Epson like the plague, if something goes wrong you are on your own.

Great value for money – I've had my TW5600 for three years now and it has been a great purchase. Lamp still going strong and the image quality is very good: sharp definition and colours that are accurate and bright. Black levels could be better but certainly not too bad for this price. Show details

Wow really good for the money! – I just replaced an aging 720p unit and this one has blown me away. For the budget it makes a really goo picture and slotted in to the same mount. Really easy upgrade. Show details

Value for Money, Close to Perfect – I bought this projector from Harvey Norman (HN) 2 weeks ago. Installed it and watched a 2 hour movie. When I turned it on the second time (the next day), the lamp indicator on the projector flashed (together with the temperature indicator also illuminated, as shown) and it could not be turned on again, coupled with an increased sound from the… Read more

in-built fan. I called HN and they immediately attended to the issue. Since the projector was still new, they did a 1 to 1 exchange for me. I re-installed it and now, it works perfectly. Very happy with the quality and the brightness of the image, and the good service provided by HN. Although some reviews state that the bulbs are difficult to get, but HN assured me that they are able to order the bulbs directly from the distributor, and they are easily available. I would recommend this model as it is value for money and close to perfect!

Good HD picture – Pretty happy with the projector picture. Awesome with HD sports. Bluetooth the audio from the unit is good. Fan is pretty loud I thought. Globe lasted 6 months which is disappointing. Getting repaired under warranty. Previous projector I had the globe lasted around 7 or 8 years.

Good value for money – In summary was good value for money although is my first projector so I don't have anything to benchmark against. I'm in a pretty small room being 4m wide, however, even with windows is still incredibly bright even during day. Additionally, very easy to use via hdmi. Only downside is that the fan is pretty noisy but I've gotten used to it.

Regret purchasing Epson EH-TW5600 Projector Model – I have purchased a projector model TW5600 with great expectation after reading all the specification and reviews on mid of March 2018. It stayed in the box for one month in my home and after installation I hardly used the project may be around 20 to 25 hours. Unfortunately the projector stopped working and started showing or flashing internal… Read more

fault indications. Talked to the seller and got the address of the repair centre. Two week before handed over to epson approved repair centre. For nearly one week as promised I did not hear anything from the service centre and I made the call. And they informed that some important part/component in the projector was faulted and need replacing. After another week asked for the status then that part was replaced but now they have to replace the lamp as lamp is also faulted.

And after my status enquiry on 3rd July, today person from service center ring and told that Epson's response came back. Epson literally run out of stock of lamp and they are in back order and give an ETA of lamp late next week and if so I can collect the projector week after next keeping fingers crossed. That makes my projector which I bought from my hard earned money in the service centre for nearly 4 weeks which I don't blame on service centre. Instead of doing this lengthy process and waiting period, as a company/manufactures like Epson could simply replace the product once the investigation found it as a faulty product and make the customer satisfy.

I am very much disappointed in the service and the product itself. I am not able to comment on the product expectation itself as I did not even got enough time to use and experience the effect of the product. Instead all I felt was pain and grief in purchasing product. I did not spend money to the projector in some repair shop. Now I regret choosing and purchasing the Epson EH-TW5600 itself. I don't think anyone in the world is expected a company like Epson will be selling a faulty product or keep customer in a limbo? How in the world I know that this product will broke again? If I ever end up with changing my projector I will think twice before choosing Epson.

Great Picture ... But – Having replaced my previous projector with the Epson TW5600, I was expecting a pretty easy exercise. In the end I had to replace my cable (with an amplified cable) because the TW5600 could not recycle the signal (previous projector had no problems) - ceiling mounted so lots of fun in the ceiling and pulling through the cable. After all that I… Read more

find that the fan noise is quite high and in fast action scenes there is an element of "jumping" (not sure of the term). The image itself is very bright with reasonable blacks - but I would be tempted to spend more on a better projector.

1080p at a fraction of the price – I tried to buy this from so many retailers but they had all sold out and were waiting on new delivery’s, I ended up finding one for $970, and I have to say I totally understand why every major retailer had no stock, this projector is amazing and has most of the bells and whistles an $8,000+ projector has. It has a 1.6x zoom, keystone Horizontal … Read more

and Vertical, Bluetooth and so much more. If you loooking to get a 200”+ picture for under $1000 then this is it, For movies it’s excellent keeping the kids quite, and the best thing is a replacement lamp is $65!!, yes $65 it’s unheard of.
