Very spasmodic with its connection to WiFi and does not have option for cable. Too frustrating when you just want to print and run. Show details

Not suitable for low use situation – Dint buy this if you don't print a lot. I purchased two of these to replace old color laser printers. One I use at my office and it's fine. The one I use at home rarely gets used. It constantly prints poorly or nearly not at all, so I need to run a "power clean" (press/hold power+? until it powers on). This uses so much ink that it's gone through… Read more

entire full set of bottles in only 400 pages (according to status menu). It won't let you clean with less than 1/3 ink so I bought new ink- only planning on doing b&w print. Then it refused to do the clean since the CMY inks were under 30%. Back to Officeworks and another $60, only to get home and find it refused to do the clean without paying Epson support to unlock due to "replace ink pads" warning. Which until you do this, the printer is a brick. So you'd need to pay for a service call and ink pad replacement. Thankfully you can hack this to trick it, and then wash the ink pads yourself. Otherwise you are stuck for a few days again without a printer, and $150 poorer. Next time I'll just get another colour laser.

Cheap on ink and prints well enough – Had it for 2 years Happy enough to buy another No stress printing because if ink cost worries. It does duplex well Cheap ink bottle refill, saved literally hundreds if dollars on ink in 2 years, we print lots everyday, well worth the extra cost over a cheap printer. The network prining can be a bit irritating, sometimes it doesn't do it straight away. Show details

Printing Different Colors – Bought genuine Epson ink but prints different colors. The green became yellow, blue became purple, white became pink, etc. How frustrating! Show details

Over 30 000 pages in one year! – I've had this printer for just over 12 months and have produced over 30 000 pages very cheaply! Any issue I have had could be solved with running the supplied 'nozzle clean' or a quick reboot of the printer. Epson has locked the printer down pretty hard with firmware which is incredibly annoying, but if you have half a brain, you can easily… Read more

replace the only part that (eventually) needs replacing (the maintenance box) very cheaply without needing to waste your time (and money) with the awful, awful epson tech support. This printer has saved me a fortune in ink and I would happily buy it again. I just wish epson was a better company to deal with.

Firmware update, won’t work – After a firmware update printer stopped communicating with computer. Managed to get it printing by connecting by cable to computer, but rest didn’t work. Have chased Epson repeatedly with response of more information. Now they expect me to travel to an authorised dealer to see if it might be a manufacturing problem. If it is they might fix it… Read more

as it is still under warranty. I’m not spending good money on maybes. I will need to buy something else. But NOT Epson.

This has to be the worst printer we ever had! – This has to be the worst printer we ever had! This is quite disappointing seeing as we had such a great Epson printer before… and we are not the only ones who feel this way. When visiting friends recently, we noticed they had the same printer too. So we asked them what they thought of their printer, and they said it was rubbish, and they were… Read more

going to throw it out. Unfortunately this printer provides poor quality prints, is spasmodic with its connection to WiFi, often provides white horizontal lines on your printed material (no matter how much system maintenance you undertake) and, to top it off, just when the warranty period ends, it will eat your paper. The only thing that this printer is good for is ink economy - which I guess, was one of its selling points )-:

not worth $500 to buy a such dumb printer – I printed few pictures and loss color after 3 pages. Even doing cleaning as required, still not working well. only black color works. Do not spend money on this printer.

Not an easy printer to use – The printer is just not user friendly the operating screen is far too small to be able to read the instructions and the instructions are very difficult to follow making not the ideal printer for the every day home user . one would have to be a expert technology geek to operate one of these. Show details

Printer bricked after firmware update. Epson doesn't take responsibility for this – A firmware update bricked my Epson ET-2750 after 4 years. It's stuck in "Set Jig" mode and no resolution is offered by Epson but spending another €120 in "repair". It's clearly a sw issue that Epson should take responsibility for. There are numerous similar reports on the Internet. Show details

Sadly I wouldn't buy at half the price – Refillable ink tanks are great. Wireless printing is hard to set up, and not user-friendly, nor is the function screen, and the biggest shock for me is it has no document feeder. Useless for the purpose I bought it for I suppose I should have checked but at $499 retail one would expect a document feeder on a $499 2022 Workstation by a well-known… Read more

company Epson. I have always had HP Printers in the past but they eat ink, the Epson tank system appealed to me it is great, still, though now I have to go and buy a stand-alone scanner or another workstation that has a document feeder as that is the main reason I bought it to scan multiple documents. I have written to Epson on a number of occasions with no response at all so much for customer service. It takes 4 mins to print a standard page. The scanner works when it wants to just a horrible product.

This printer has potential but sadly it has not yet been reached – This printer has 2 great qualities, the first is the ability to print borderless, the 2nd is the economy of the inks, they last and last. That is where it ends though I am afraid. It prints lines approx every 1cm across the entire page this happens at random. It could start after printing 5 pages or after 50. You have to keep an eye on it. It also… Read more

every so often tears the corner of the paper and leaves black ink marks on the page. Running through the maintenance program helps but for how long then you have to do it again and again. It wastes so much time, paper and ink and is very frustrating. The response from Epson seemed to be cut and pasted and was not at all helpful and did not rectify the problem. My only choice it to persevere or return it but I have purchased many ink bottles so not sure what to do. Also sometimes it prints so slowly just one line then pause, one line then pause for a whole page it takes ages. Other times it just prints half the page then spits it out. The scanner terrible too, it does not scan true to colour and when I try to update the machine it says it can't find it despite it having printed wirelessly.

The most expensive mistake I've made – I don't think I have ever sent a document to the printer and it just printed. There is always an issue to troubleshoot- a connection issue, a feeding issue, an ink issue or -the most annoying- software that needs updating. It's a printer for goodness sake, why on earth would it need a software update, it has 1 job to do!!! It drives me insane as you can tell. Show details

Good on paper, just not good ON paper – Printer constantly faults and gets set jig status requiring a full reset and maintenance and several cleans before it is legible. Spending an equal amount of time and ink doing maintenance as I am printing. Updates etc have not rectified this. Show details

Very Impressive – Having owned several inkjets over the years it is a step forward and does what it promised to do. We purchased it just before COVID so it has done more printing than expected over the last year but we are still on the first tanks of ink. We may have printed a couple of thousand pages, mostly text with the occasional image. It is a home office… Read more

style printer and for that the ink wells last well long enough. Economically it is cheaper to run and better for the environment as you are not throwing away plastic ink cartridges. The ink isn't cheap but overall probably comparable to using non Epson cartridges - yet you get the genuine Epson ink. The two sided printing works well.

One the negative, once or twice it had a rear paper jam that the screen doesn't show you there is a trap door there to access. Wasted a day on that. You still can get clogged heads but i find it is much less frequent than when using cartridges.

Overall i was pleasantly surprised and will definitely not move back to a cartridge system.

In theory it is an innovative approach, it was a waste of time and money – I purchased the Epson Eco Tank printer as I loathe running out of ink and having to always go out and purchase cartridges. So when they promised that the printer could print 5200 colour or 6500 black and white pages with one ink recharge I was sold. Even though the price tag is 10 times what I would pay for a printer, the concept of the printer… Read more

impressed me.

It is not a straightforward process to get the printer to work. There is a dozen step process of pressing this button or that and then doing all the steps in sequence to ensure you can print. Having followed the instructions to the tee I was surprised when it printed a blank page of paper.

Again I tried the process to see if maybe I did something wrong. I watched a video and despite having followed the 2 dozen steps to get the process going it still would not print, neither colour or black and white nor print copies.

The following day I returned it to the Good Guys. They even tested it out to see what has happened and it is clear this is something that regularly happens.

For $500 you would expect an inkjet to work. Either I got a lemon or its a bad design. Either way I will get a brother printer and avoid all the headaches.

Difficult to set up - does not work with dual band modems - connection keeps dropping out – Very bad product to configure, set up and use. I replaced my Canon multifunction printer with this one 2 years ago and since then it has been a constant struggle to connect to it wirelessly, or using its iPrint. the so called duplex print is manual where you have to manually turn the paper and re-insert it. My 8 year old canon printer did that automatically. A really really bad experience Show details

Endless Ink but poor quality printing – I bought this as a small business printer because I didn't want to fork our endless amounts of cash for printer cartridges. In that regard it has lived up to the hype. I have had the printer for over 8months now and the ink levels have only just nudged the first reticle (8/10ths remaining). I expect a few more years of printing at least. In… Read more

regards to print quality - the printer is terrible. Printing in standard quality leaves all sorts of artifacts in the letters and some doubling of letters. Printing in high quality is much better but oh its so very very slow. It was an expensive printer and I was thinking of getting a laser but chose this instead. If I had my time over, I would get a laser for the much higher quality. Overall, yeah its great on ink, it does double sided printing without me having to reload the page and its easy to use, but the print quality is unacceptable for the cost of it. If you're in the market for a printer, choose carefully.

Print to Your Hearts Content! – The ET-2750 Eco Tank Printer is amazing and I still cannot believe how much you can print before having to fill up the ink tanks. In just over a year I have printed over 10,000 coloured copies and since the initial purchase of ink I have only refilled my ink tanks once. Astounding! The ink is also extremely cheap to purchase. I did a lot of… Read more

research before purchasing this machine and I wouldn't hesitate in buying another one when needed. The colour quality is also excellent and of a very high quality. The double sided option is also excellent and particularly good when printing on 100gm paper. I have recommended this printer to a number of friends who have also purchased this same printer and they too have had the same great results I have had. Yes, the paper tray may be a little clunky but the amount you can print in colour far out weighs the simple nature of the paper tray. - The wireless was very easy to set up - Copies are produced with excellent speed - Highly economical printing - Easy to use ink well with no mess when refilling I can't recommend this printer highly enough. Where I would once hesitate about printing in colour due to the cost involved, I now print everything in colour!

VERY DISAPPOINTED – I purchased the Epson ET-2750 about 6 months ago after some years of using Canon printers. The main selling points were that it was a "better (more expensive) printer" than the faithful old Canon it was replacing - and most importantly it was fitted with ink wells rather than expensive ink packs. It is a far more difficult printer to use than… Read more

the Canon; its status screen is small and difficult to read and its menu buttons can be confusing (expect lots of "invalid" selections). But what is most frustrating about the Epson is that its feeder mechanism is very poor especially when printing photos - 4"x6" photos alternately jam or pass straight through without printing at all. What's worse, clearing the jam or restarting the process is unacceptable; both problems require you to work through the status screen instructions to the end. Any attempt to shorten the process results in an "invalid" response.

When and if I manage to print a photo (and I haven't had much success), the standard is no better than the far cheaper Canon. My view is that Epson is simply a disappointing printer that I'd never again invest in.
