The rubbish bin is the best place for this printer – Absolute garbage printer. Never connected properly, printed test pages that used half the ink cartridges. Dont buy. Three it in the bin after a year of frustration.

Don't Buy. It's a Piece of Junk!! – This printer is a piece of junk! We've had it for about 4 months. It only occasionally wirelessly connects to the computer. 9 times out of 10 we have to manually connect it via cable. It won't print a black and white document without colour ink being full even if the document has no colour in it. This is annoying but what is worse the colour ink… Read more

dries out in a matter of a few weeks so you need to buy new ink pretty much everytime you want to print. It'd be cheaper and easier to take your documents to a printing shop. We will be throwing this printer out shortly and buying a different brand which is ridiculous for a 4 month old printer.

DO NOT BUY – Tried to persevere with this printer, bought my third batch of ink a week ago literally printed 45 sheets from the ink at a cost of £42 and the ink has gone! The printer is going in the bin and never buying Epson again!!!

Epson Printer rebrand – Epson Printer XP 2200 is a rebranded XP 2150 because they got such bad reviews...guess what the XP 2200 is no different. Still a cheap Nast piece of equipment that no body should consider buying if they don't want hours and hours of problems. Show details

Absolutely disgraceful – If I could give it 0 it would be too high. I bought this piece of garbage for around $60, it printed probably 5 pieces of paper before it refused to print anything else claiming to be out of ink (I can heard ink in the cartridges when I shake them), I spent MORE money on new cartridges that also failed to work or solve the problem. It is now… Read more

sitting in my garbage bin where it belongs, it is just a shame that I took it off the store shelf in the first place.

A $55 piece of junk ! – I bought the $55.00 Epson XP-2105 in August 2021 and I have spent $313.00 on ink cartridges in the 17 months up to 21/1/2023 .It is only a home use printer and not used much ! It chews up ink ! 11 days ago I installed a $20 Black 39 cartridge and now its almost empty and have only done 6 one page black print jobs plus 3 Windows Printer Test… Read more

Pages. Today I installed a $27 Yellow 39 XL cartridge and did 3 Test pages . It has used 20 % of its ink !!!

I will recycle this Epson piece of junk and research a replacement.

What a waste of money. Worst ever printer – It stopped printing even in black and white as one of the colour ink was empty. I bought the ink and it then says other ink is empty. Bought the 2nd colour, then 3rd one says it's empty even though it was half full when I put the 2nd ink. Anyway, I installed all 3 brand new inks. Now it says the paper is jammed and cannot print. Paper is not… Read more

jammed. I wasted all the money for the inks I didn't need to replace. I can't use this printer what so ever with brand new inks in it! What a waste of time and money. Never buy Epson again.

Useless - programmed to demand ink. Better to throw your money away – This printer is absolutely useless was recommended by Staff. Chews ink and won't work immedietely after new cartridges, demanding replacement. What a corporate mafia Epson is. Never again an Epson. Might as well throw you money out the car window. Show details

Worst Printer Ever – This is the worst printer I have ever owned. I print 2 pages and the ink light flashed. I have spent hundreds of dollars on ink cartridges. Now there is an error connection and it is now refusing to print anything. Do not buy this printer. Show details

The worst printer and scanner ever – Rubbish item. Always the online "ink buying" messages chase you to death. 9 out of 10 times the connection fails to the computer. Very annoying and frustrating. Most of the customers who bought this item might have sought psychiatrist help Show details

How to ruin a reputation – I have no problems with printing quality or connectivity. I do however have big issues with build quality and design. The lid is flimsy and if you try to print anything of a certain thickness it pops right out with little chance of putting the hinges back without moving the printer. The back paper holder is also very flimsy and stops reclining and jambs for no reason. Epson this is not the way to ruin what was once an excellence in printers. Show details

Without a doubt the worst printer I've ever used – This Epson Expression Home XP-2105 is a terrible terrible printer. It has never printed well with lines and splodges all the time; even after extensive cleaning. Don't bother buying one. Show details

Worst printer! – Worst printer Ive ever owned, Ink level goes from half way to Zero without even printing a thing. Ive replaced all inks twice and barley printed 20 sheets max and most of them were supposed to be greyscale. Constantly has errors, Looks connected but nothing prints, the buttons are like a code system you have to always refer to the manual to read… Read more

the what its doing, Update app is CONTANSTLY asking for updates. Very very frustrating. Going back to a Canon its going in the Bin

Do not buy! – Manages about 6 useful pages per set of ink cartridges, as everything needs to be reprinted due to ink nozzles constantly clogging. Colour ink counters still go down even when printing is set to low-quality black and white mode. Scam product - do not touch EPSON. Would give zero stars if that was an option Show details

This printer sucks and should be destroyed – Just replaced all 3 colour cartridges, simply to be able to print in black and white. Printer is effectively bricked now because it doesn't recognise the new yellow cartridge. Completed all the trouble shooting to no avail. I'll be damned if I am going to go buy a new cartridge. Interestingly, it appears the firmware update locked the printer up. So see you on youtube, where I will upload a video of this POS burning in the back yard. Show details

The Worst Printer I've Ever Owned – I bought the EPSON EXPRESSION HOME XP-2105 because I was tired of having other (cheap) brands of printers die frequently and was led to believe that Epson had better printers. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case. This printer uses excessive ink just doing everyday document printing. I've even tried printing in lower (draft) quality but the XL ink… Read more

tanks still require replacing much more frequently than the cheap brands I used to use.

The ink usage can also be attributed to the frequency in which I have to do printer head cleaning because approximately every 4-5 pages comes out with lines across it. I tried many solutions found online and on the Epson website to fix the problem and even contacted Epson support but got a copy and paste response and the issue still persists.

Additionally, each time I have to replace one or more ink cartridges it takes multiple attempts and up to 30 minutes to get the printer to recognise the genuine Epson ink cartridges. I have just spent 25 minutes replacing one (black XL) ink cartridge and received multiple error messages about the (genuine) ink cartridge being incompatible and not able to be detected by the printer. After numerous removal and re-inserts of the ink cartridge and 5 or 6 power off and on cycles the printer finally recognised the cartridge.

When the printer actually works, via Wi-Fi or direct connection, it prints fine for everyday plain paper text printing. However, the excessive ink usage, the lines on every 4-5 pages (which requires constant head cleaning) and the poor customer support is incredibly frustrating.
