Do not buy – Paper tray is not easily accessible Small paper compacity Difficult to load - constantly saying load paper if not perfectly installed in tray Read manual carefully if you want it to work - I like it simple so I don't have to read the manual again if I don't print for a while have to clean heads constantly Scanner is good Show details

Not bad... but not fabulous – As far as printers/copiers go this does the job it was designed for and the fact it even lasted as long as it did is impressive . Photos are ok and I handles doing a large quantity at one time. My one negative with this printer is that the cartridges are crazy expensive and don’t really last all that long even the XL ones. kinda glad It died as it was sending me broke replacing the ink.  Show details

Most expensive paper weight I have ever bought – This printer is not only terrible, it's actually been designed by time travelling nazis who were so bitter about losing the war that they traveled thru time to make this printer just to annoy me. You can't scan and send thru WiFi, even though this is a WiFi printer. You can't print from a memory stick even though it has a slot for a memory… Read more

stick.

It took my computer 6 months to be able to reliably print and I ended up printing copies of my thesis at officeworks because it was less painful to drive across town than to use this heap of steaming fecal matter.

I will never buy an epson product again as long as i live.

terrible machine designed to make u buy ink – Uses ink... alot. Magenta is out, wont let me print black and white without replacing spent colour cartridge. Am I being paranoid or is this a ploy to sell more ink? Photo quality is very poor. Bought high quality paper thinking that would help... no change, just a bad printer.  Show details

all-in-one that does nothing well – When I recently installed an off-brand ink cartridge for my Epson XP610 printer, I got a message saying that the quality of my printing would not be as good. What joke! Worse than it already is? The printer heads continuously clog and it uses a significant amount of ink to clean them. At least Target was willing to allow me to exchange the first… Read more

one when I showed them the receipts from all the Epson ink I had already bought after only 60 days. Glad to see the model has been discontinued. It should never have been sold.

Very disappointed with this printer which has given me nothing but trouble – I've had this printer for about 7 months and am very disappointed with it. It is continually telling me that cartridges are empty - when they are not, often only about 1/4 has been used - and now it won't recognize a cartridge that has been working for the last two weeks. And once you get an error message there is absolutely nothing else you can… Read more

do with the machine. Even when it is working, the colours for photos and pictures has been terrible. In the last picture I printed, the denim blue jumper came out as pink! I have wasted so much time and ink on this machine and although it wasn't overly expensive, it wasn't cheap either and it should work far better than this. I have read positive reviews for this printer but my experience has been anything but positive.

A very good printer, especially for photos – After returning three Canon printers between October last and this month, I decided to purchase an Epson XP-610 printer. This quite small machine has it's quirks - output tray must be pulled out manually before printing, and it occasionally wants the cassette trays (6" x 4"' and A4) topped up with paper before it will continue working. Against… Read more

this, the print quality for Text is excellent, black and sharp, while there is an alternative, lighter Draft text.

However, the printer's best performances are in photographs. The printer gives two options, a standard and best level. Standard is very good for postcards, but the higher quality is superb for A5 or A4 prints, especially on photo paper. The printer has an excellent Preview facility, which can sometimes avoid a waste of paper/ink.

The one major drawback is the very high cost of original manufacturer's cartridges, roughly $17.00 each.

However, generic inks seem to work quite well, although perhaps not with quite the same level of excellence.

The printer is available at several outlets at comparatively low cost. WiFi scanning and printing works well.

Highly recommended.

Good little machine – Bought this to replace a Canon that never worked . Got it set up quickly, via wifi, It did what it said , faster quieter and smaller . There are a couple of minor things I still have to sort out and I don't think any printer is really 100 % Mac friendly. Faster, quieter, smaller, nice prints I have to pull out the tray manually . I can't seem to get it to start up when I press print. Could be just me :)

Copy, Scan, Print + DVD,CD & Blu-Ray Print – Being a bit of a print guru and someone who has his printer printing documents, CD's, DVD's and blu-ray discs. I go for the printers that are cost effective and practical. The Epson Expression Premium XP 610 is from my point of view a good printer. Not perfect, but for $137 does the job well. I wanted a printer that didn't have too many ink… Read more

tanks and printed good results.

I was going to go for a canon printer, but I already had one in the past and wanted to try a different brand. I think from experience knowing how to work the printer or device helps. Being a IT person I face problems all the time or are expected to fix problems. I suppose if the printer got a problem it doesn't bother me. To the average user, a printer must be user friendly or whats the point.

I am getting a Continues Ink Supply System with this printer, so I expect to have many months of use out of it. +Great Blu-Ray Disc printing quality +Portability +Does the basics +WIFI Direct Print +Cloud Print -Slow Boot Up -Wifi signal can be weak -Printing can be slow at times
