Very poor build quality, great results when it works – I have had this printer less than 1 year. Bought it to replace my cherished large format Epson Stylus Pro 7600 which worked well for 15 years.! in a cradle. When printing, the machine makes a lot of grating noises and it sounds like paper is getting caught especially each time I use the roll paper, even after the repair. The & front & top feeds work Ok.( I cannot believe the reviews I have seen giving a high rating for build quality). Its a very poor build quality, flimsy and plasticy. I am now having another problem with the roll paper , paper is sticking and I get error message to close front loader (front loader is closed). I can see paper is getting caught. So another service call.! The service technician who fixed my first problem, was not impressed at all with this printer and advised that a second hand P800 would have been a better choice. I have been a long time epson fan but I cannot recommend this printer. The print quality, as per other reviews, is superb !!. However at $2000+ it is simply not value for money especially if you want to use the roll paper option for wide format printing.
