Epson WorkForce WF-2810

Utter rubbish – After a couple of years of one problem after another, despite very little use, and spending a fortune on the very-expensive-but-don't-last-very-long cartridges, I have had enough. I would like to throw it against a brick wall. I will never, ever buy an Epson printer again. Show details
Warning!! Will have you walking to the garage to find the sledgehammer – Print quality is ok. Reliability is woeful and issues are constant. Seems every time you want to print there is a problem. Try running 'printer troubleshooting' and it will not identify the problem. Cartridges life is shorter than a dragonfly. You will use up the colour cartridges merely by printing test pages ( of which you will do many). Extremely frustrating printer
garbage – had to print a few doc's... after setting up and struggling with the tiny screen it worked... but after 8 pages no ink... replaced after a few months... then 2 pages and nothing... no black ink at all after another ney cartridge and multiple nozzle cleanings it still will not print... it is a piece of crap... if you want a cheap printer go with canon never will i buy an epsom printer again. Awful awful rip off printer – It rejects Epson genuine cartridges that still have ink - so we tried non branded ones - same thing it uses a fraction and then demands new cartridges whilst still partly unused - about 1/3 ink wasted. Still uses colour ink even for b/w - always complaining about something - only 2 months old and it is being thrown out Show details
waste – I do not understand why someone would create a nightmare. Show details
A good Printer – They say, you get what you pay for but this is the exception, this printer was cheap & I’ve had it for about 3 weeks & so far have been quietly impressed at the simplicity of its use. For light home printing, it’s perfect, I find it a great little printer. Very easy to connect to my iPhone & selecting to print off my iPhone is so darn easy! … Read more
Nice clear printing, option of back & front printing, the screen is a great help with simple instructions to connect, for those that say it doesn’t stay connected to Wi-Fi, you need to leave it on standby mode, then there is no problems. Epson rebates $20 towards printer ink, which I took advantage of. Overall if you’re looking at light printing, it’s well worth the money.
You might us well throw your money down the dunny – It would be quite untruthful to describe this black plastic box as a 'printer' because it is entirely useless at printing. It's only reason really to exist is to extort more money from the purchaser to buy more printer ink cartridges. I only want to print B&W text, but it will not allow you to print without sending A total waste of time and… Read more
really an indictment on the weakness of Australian consumer protection law that it's possible for Epson to falsely describe this black plastic box as a printer. Out of action for months, finally i went and bought the magenta and cyan ink cartridges it demanded from me, for $60. I then tried to print 2 pages of B&W text. These were unreadable. Then another message came up saying printing in B&W would not work until a new yellow ink cartridge was bought and inserted. A total crapshow.
STAY AWAY – Epson ET 2810 - TERRIBLE!!! Does not stay connected to the wifi!! First it printed everything in codes, it was super hard to set up. Then it won't stay connected to the internet so I have to spend a minimum of 30min every time I want to print something. Loved the idea of the big ink cartridges and this seems to work well. All in all a big disappointment - stay away from this Printer Show details
Stay away. Does not stay connected to WIFI. Buy new cartridges after printing 10 pieces of paper – Only bought this print last year after my last one wouldnt print any more. It was always unreliable connecting to a hotspot but when we connected to NBN and Wifi it needed to be reconnected to WIFI with password every time we used it and then often would not connect. Worst most unreliable printer Ive had. Terrible cost efficiency with needing to buy new $30 cartridges about every 10 pieces of paper printed. Didnt work most of the time we had it. Show details
Just a ok printer – I am updating my review from absolute rubbish to just okay. I think all the complaints were listened to by Epson because you can now print black and white even if the colour has run out. I have noticed a lot of fixes through software updates. Only thing I will criticise is the ink doesn't last long at all and I am buying the XL cartridges. If I… Read more
print 20 colouring pages for my kid's the ink cartridge is almost empty and for the price Epson charges for them you end up spending more in ink than the printer is worth in the first 3 months so I buy refilled cartridges on eBay for 1/3 of the price.
Terrible quality – Problems with not recognising ink cartridges, mostly just problems. My old canon was better than this. Jams paper, connecting is hard. Everything is wrong with this printer. This is the worst printer I have used. Show details
Total waste of money, bad printer and bad customer service! – This printer is a total waste of money. Keeps losing wifi connection and had to keep entering the wifi password on the machine (none of my other devices did that so it's not my wifi). Ink emptied and dried out after only printing a couple of pages. Contacted customer service about these issues and they lost my time going back and forth and would… Read more
not take any responsibility, then told me I can send it to their agency but accept that I would have to pay if found "ok to their standard". This is even with me being within their warranty period. I have dealt with Canon and Brother customer service before and they were so much more helpful than Epson. I have told them that I will be posting this review but they could not care less, so here it is! Printer is now going in the hard waste and bought a new Brother one - very happy with it.
Cannot print Black and White when Colour ink cartridge/s is out of ink – I am unhappy just because I cannot print black & white/greyscale when my colour ink cartridges are out of ink. Called tech support they said I cannot until I refill all the cartridges. Somehow this model uses all nozzles and without colour ink, it may damage them. I am happy with the print quality and colour. It has a FAX feature also if you have a telephone line to connect to it. Show details
