Terrible product – This product struggles to connect with the internet. I have to reset it all the time. And after 12 months it does not print will not feed the paper through. I was a intermittent in the beginning so i should of took it back to the shop then. I can not recommend this product.  Show details

be no scanning option on the actual printer only print, copy or fax! Scanning seems to only be a wifi option from the computer. Absolute rubbish. Terrible quality and usability.

Only good for about 12 months – 18 months OK after that chuck it out... I tried an after market black ink - didnt like it so thinking it was damaged I got another one - stiil the same so then went to get an Epson ink. Not registering... you cannot continue to just use the printer in black-and-white. The Automatic Document Feeder needs you to babysit it, as it will often pull a couple pages through at a time, meaning that you miss pages in your final scanned document.

Not recommended – The printer works like any other printer in the market. It is a generic printer. But it has a big issue. call. I called the number as suggested and they said that it does not print in black if any of the other colours are out. Epson is forcing customers to buy the cartridges even if the customers do not need it. All the printers I had prior to that had the black only option. I am going to throw out this printer and buy a different brand which allows me to print black only, once the cartridge price is almost the same as a new printer.

All Espon printers do not print in black only. You will spend a lot it cartridges.

Blurry – Prints Word andPDF documents with shading and blurry. Have cleaned nozzles, re aligned, etc. Get what you pay for I guess, rang the disinterested, unhelpful customer service people at Epson for assistance to no avail. Fax took some fiddling via Google to get it going. Need the larger ink cartridges too. Initial price and features as above, blurry print that alignment, nozzle clean wont fix

Works well, has a learning curve – I upgraded from a dying CX5500. WorkForce435 was easy to install, and prints nicely with good ink capacity in supplied cartridges. I've only sent one Fax which seemed slow, but that was probably the phone lines & recipient's machine. Good all rounder so far. - see pros & cons. is good for multiple page copies. Good price. Flat page alignment for scanner is not as good as old one. Need a home-made bridge to place some sheets in the correct spot for best scanning. Some print functions same. ie. envelopes print upside down vs Office 2010 screen display - will take some work/ previews/dummy runs.

Amazing printer for AU$98 – It does everything is says on the box! Wireless setup was a breeze. I can print direct from iphone and ipad, pc or laptop. No USB cable setup needed. The 30 page auto feeder for the scanner is unique to this model. I threw away a working Lexmark because I couldn't get wireless printing to work... this is the best $98 I've spent. Easy setup, inexpensive, true wireless

Horrible customer service support – Bought the printer and had trouble while scanning documents. Phoned Epson 6 times and all the same answer, not even apology. Apart from helping customers, Cust care people started yelling over the phone. I have wasted 13 days of life with the stress of Epson customer revive people. Now determined, never to Epson...
