About to throw it out. A piece of rubbish. I print only in black and white, but it uses all the colour cartridges up?! and Wi-Fi connection is always dropping out, even though the router is right next to it! I have to reconnect with every print job! even if they are seconds apart. DO NOT BUY... Very frustrating. Show details

does not do what Epson say – Hi to all well another product that will not do what Epson say will do. I purchased this printer to replace my 10 year old Brother. On Epson web sites they say this printer will work with Amazon Alexa echo 10. Well Epson it wont, There is no way to get Alexa to find this printer, Epson say just go to Epson connect and follow instructions Really,… Read more

Has anyone at Epson tried to carry out this task. The Alexa skills store does not have an Epson printer skill, so thankyou Epson for letting us people find out this after purchasing your products. Talk about false and misleading information from large companies. Well Epson Thanks again for me wasting our time and money trying to connect your product.

Printer Great Cartridges not so much – I have no problems with the printer itself but i have found that the three colour cartridges are empty and the black is nearly full, after printing mostly in Greyscale. It seems to create Greyscale it used the colours and not Black (as Greyscale is a colour). I cannot override it to use the black first so have to buy the colours first to get it… Read more

going again.

When I purchased this I thought it would use Black more as I don't print in colour very often.

Apart from that, the printer is really good. The screen is clear enough and its pretty quiet. I like the scanning to USB, so simple.

Just enough for a home office – We have had this printer for nearly 12 months and have had no issues with it. It's used regularly by two people in a small home office consultancy business. Love the double-sided printing option and the scanning feature. Epson is continually proving software updates which can be a bit of a pain. You need to purchase the XXL printer cartridges, and the generic brands work just as well as the Epson printer cartridges. Show details

Don't buy one! – Absolute piece of crap. Tells me constantly that paper trays are empty when they aren't. Always saying paper size doesn't match, I only ever use A4. Show details

Won't go to sleep when not in use – Bought this mainly because of double sided auto scanning. Bought from Office Works in April 2022. Registered it with Epson. Today 7/8/23 it still has two of the original ink cartridges in it. Hardly used. Stopped going to sleep when not in use in July 2023. Have to physically turn it off and on or it runs 7*24. Phoned Epson on 30/7/23 and they… Read more

provided me with email instructions on how to reset machine settings which I followed but to no avail. I also did an uninstall and reinstall also to no avail. In the same email I was directed to a local repairer in the event the reset didn't work. No suggestion of phoning them back if the reset didn't work. Went to said local repairer today just before 2:00pm to find it closed. On phoning said repairer was told they are only open 9:00am - 2:00pm. Some service. I would have thought that Epson, given how new it was, might have made and offer to replace it as it is clearly not fit for purpose. It has a terrible 1 year warranty and yet is marketed as a business machine.

Pro, you joking, but well designed to fit in the bin – Blue tooth, wireless, get a grip, this is the most useless piece of rubbish I have now put into my wheelee bin because it just will not work. Every time I log onto my computer it takes forever to connect with the printer, up date or reload driver every month, it was so bad I had to use cable in the end. Show details

Great printer for the home office with some very useful features – After years of trouble-free use of a basic Epson model, the Expression Home XP-432, my needs increased for some additional features that the XP-432 doesn't have. I chose the Epson Workforce Pro WF-4830 as a replacement, partly based on that trouble free experience and partly from being included on a Choice list of recommended printers. It has a… Read more

document feeder that supports double-sided copying, double-sided scanning and double-sided printing. There are 2 paper trays each holding half a ream (250 sheets) of paper. These features are saving me a lot of time, compared with my previous printer. And there is a fax facility (which I don't need). It has been easy to set up with my Dell desktop and my HP laptop, except for a bit of difficulty in getting the scanning feature to work.

As a downside, I think it has a greater thirst for ink than my previous printer. Better to buy the large cartridge 812XL which is supposed to produce 3 times as many pages as the standard cartridge 812.

Great MFC Printer – After giving HP printers away years ago, we have used Canon until the last one recently failed. We decided to give Epson a go, but as the model recommended by Choice had an indefinite delivery time at Officeworks, we went for a fancier unit which even has a document feeder, 2 sided printing, 2 sided scanning and a fax facility. After years of… Read more

hassles in setting up Canon printers with WiFi when the printer could not be found, this unit was an absolute piece of cake, the easiest printer I have ever set up, both on our office PC and our laptop.

It is super fast, very user friendly, and produces great results.
