This is possibly the most annoying printer I have ever used including the old dot matrix ones. I have used brother printers for the last couple of years but thought the epson would be comparable. Totally wrong. The screen is tiny, and it seems to have needs of attention every time you need to use it. Big time waster. Nothing is intuitive, ink is… Read more

expensive and is used with great abandon. Considering junking it and buying something else. Waste of couple of hundred dollars

Do not buy, scammy piece of rubbish – This printer is a total piece of junk. Why do I need yellow magenta and cyan cartridges to print BLACK AND WHITE? It is also sluggish with constant connection issues that can only be solved with a hard reboot. All their efforts went into this predatory rubbish software to scam users into purchasing their expensive ink. Show details

Rubbish – Not user friendly, sluggish, Ink provided only seemed to last about 20 pages. Takes ages before it will decide to print. Hate it. Show details

Hours of my life wasted – The printer needs to be reset up everytime that you use it, the quickest it ever took was 20min, usually at least an hour. If you seek help for it, there is a rabbit warren of articles and buttons to press without any actual people to speak with. It also doesn't let you print in black if one of your colour inks has run out. I just finished… Read more

smashing it with my bare hands. It has been our printer for about 9 months and today I gave up on it after 2 hours of trying to print something.

STAY AWAY - I BEG YOU!!!! – This printer seems to be a nineteen nineties model repurposed for today's use. The technology is sluggish and outdated, and mainly requires that you poke around on a tiny keypad with a tiny screen and try to make sense of what the incessant beeping is asking you to do. I have been using printers since the dot matrix era, this is hands down the… Read more

worst printer I have ever been hoodwinked into buying. It will test your sanity, so please be warned and stay away from this printer series.

feed is good and the prints colour and B/W are good I would recommend this printer I paid $119 I don't expect it to be in the same league as the more expensive printer's its very good for a budget home printer I downloaded the software for the drivers etc. was so easy and it worked on windows 10 the screen on the printer is small however it can be read ok it connects no problems its previous printer WF2830 had bad reviews I think this model will be so much better

What a cynical piece of technology this printer is – The printer has printed a total of 20 pages of A4 B&W print and about 10 pages of A4 sized colour screen grabs and brochures. It now tells me that it's out of Yellow ink but that I can print in B&W. That is simply a lie as despite changing the Print setiings for the B&W document (that's right it's not even a colour document) to B&W it still… Read more

insists that I change the Yellow Ink and that the Magenta is very low. Initially I was given the option on the printers postage stamp sized screen to proceed in B&W. There smart people at Epson, who would have thought of printing a B&W text doc in B&W? Now it just says that "You need to replace ink cartridge(s)" "Ok Proceed" With this gem from Epson, any colour cartridge running out renders the printer unusable, even for B&W. A quick look below the covers in the menus reveals that the bulk of options are concerned with trying to get you to sign up for plans to keep the ink coming. I understand that Printer manufacturers need to keep the cost of new features low and that "short filling" the ink cartridges is a common way to do this but Epson has really lowered the bar with this thinly disguised money grab to have you buy their consumables. You will find me out the front of OfficeWorks with this cynical sales ploy explaining quietly to all that enter, why they should not consider an Epson product. I don't even want a refund. I'll carry it around and if there is an OfficeWorks nearby and I have 10mins I'll set up the Epson "dog and pony" show.
