according to the Therapeutic Goods Administration. Regardless, whether the unit falls within the warranty period or not, this is not a warranty issue - it is a SAFETY RECALL!!! And for a product used primarily for sick infants and children. This is not good enough Eukybear! Very poor customer service and zero responsibility taken for providing unsafe products to consumers!

I have had bad experiences with the euky bear warm steam vaporiser .. it has bucked up my floor boards.. which need repairing.. but all they tell me is to send the product in for a review .. sorry I want because this is my evidence ... please let me know if anyone had the same issues with this product ...Not pleased with the product and the company shouldn't be giving it even 1 star... Show details

Absolute winner – Been using this for nearly 4 years with my toddler. I dont feel the smell is meant to be strong as its a natural Eucalyptus product and too much of that oil can burn your eyes etc. The steam is fantastic for all colds and respiratory issues. sensitive (on the Spectrum) and the noise it makes doesnt bother him. Really happy we have our Euky Bear!

Has worked perfectly until now – We are the biggest advocates of the Euky Bear! My son has slept with it every night since we purchased from baby bunting in April! However tonight out of no where the sound stopped and is no longer playing! The diffuser and light still works however no sound options. Is there a way this can be fixed? Can't live without it – Everytime one of us is sick, my steam vaporiser is my go too! Had it for 3 years now and I follow the instructions and it's done my family well. Just be sure to switch off first thing in the morning, rinse and ready for use again. I also make sure I clean product with tablet after the 3rd or 4th time using it. Mine has been included in the recall and as it’s an older model they will only pay reduced rate of $40 however the fault is from their product given it’s a product issue and safety issue this is not acceptable and won’t be purchasing or recommending their brand I’ll be doing the opposite.

Burning smell – Received Euky Baer as a baby gift. Used it a few times and loved it. Suddenly there's this strong burning smell and impossible to smell the strong eucalyptus .... very upset and think it might be a faulty product issue.

Euky Bear won’t turn after pillow accidentally falling on it over night ? – My pillow accidentally fell on my warm humidifier and now it won’t turn on. Helpppp

Unusual noise – I brought this just over a month ago and it has been great but the past few nights it has made a loud noise like the fan is working overtime. Any chance I can fix this or get it replaced?

Sound stopped working – We loved our Euky bear. It was a present for the baby shower and we have been using it most days for about 10months until now the sound stopped working. :( I had my baby shower in November '22 so a while before we even started using it. No smell – Useless product. Don’t waste your money on this product as it does not generate any smell at all. Also leaves black/grey particles at the bottom of the container. I’ve even used the cleaning tablets and still the same. Show details

no smell – Bought it about a year ago when our baby got her first cold. Worked great the first couple of times and the scent was nice and strong. Then it became useless. We’ve tried the cleaning tablets a few times but made no difference. Can smell the liquid when you open the lid but the smell doesn’t come through the vapouriser itself. Euky Bear Vaporiser – Bought this after seeing great reviews on Chemist Warehouse. Purchased on sale for $65 as well as the Euky Bear inhalant to add in. After reading some reviews saying there were floaties in the water, I figured why not give it a go anyway since it has an impressive 5yr warranty. However, if I did not have filtered water, I would use distilled to prevent the floaties. I noticed that the unit does not have an off-switch, or an auto-off. This is fine because I just unplug it in the morning, empty & rinse the tub, wipe down the motor and away we go! Just follow the instructions. Like many appliances, it’s your responsibility to switch it off. For $65 who can complain! Makes the room smell lovely and is super quiet and easy to clean. My son is still congested but I’m sure it’s helping him sleep a bit better.

Terrible, there are far better ones out there at cheaper price – - no on/off switch - no auto-off when the tank is empty, which coupled with no switch makes this particularly annoying Show details

black residues and burning smell after 5 uses – I bought this last year and used it 4 times in winter. This year when I used it (with cleaning tablet) It did not work well since the water tank was half. I opened it and saw there are black residues in the water and the water is a bit dirty. Love this machine – Love this machine, works great usually but our machine is only just over 2 years old and tonight the orange light on top flashed for a second before going out and now isn't working at all. how to claim anything with the warranty as I don't think I have the receipt anymore with 3 kids under 4 everything goes missing.

This heats up and my son touched it and burned his hand! – The vaporiser was on for an hour only and had it on the table. We had no idea this would get so hot! My son touched it only for seconds and he has extremely bad burns! This is not safe. Do not recommend Show details

Unit smoking – Have only owned this product for about 3 months, and was used a handful of times. Unit started smoking and had a very clear burning smell. We returned unit as requested to be assessed for replacement. the 14th if March I receive an email saying the box is to damaged and (apparently had some mold) I explained the box was stored outside and was about to be thrown before the unit died, so it's not an indication of how the unit was stored but said said to bad they will not be assessing the item due to the poor condition of the box.

If the box was in such a poor state why did it take a week after you acknowledged you received it to say anything, also if the item it self was not faulty I would not of had to find the box from the recycling pile.

Wish I looked at reviews before purchasing.

Did all the correct things only used products they made, regularly cleaned.

Very displeased.

Foul smell – I've had this item for almost a year, luckily have only needed to use it a few times til now. Now when I've needed it urgently for my 1 year old who is very congested, it makes this disgusting smell and the water has black/grey flakes in in despite cleaning it everytime and using tablets when required, so disgusted my boy is inhaling this due to not noticing til the morning of the foul odour in his room. Show details

known with the excess Euky Bear stock, stacked up against the few Vicks Vaporiser ones. With each use of the Euky Bear vaporiser, I am continuing to experience a metallic smell coming out from the unit steam. This has been causing my family to experience sever headaches and nausea - we arent able to use it anymore. Cannot understand why this is happening, given that the unit has been used in complete accordance to the product manual. All the add-in liquids and the cleaning tablets are in date also. Stinky, shonky product. Please steer clear of this one if you are considering purchasing it. Go with the brand Vicks instead.

Was great at when I first purchased it – It's not that old at all probably a year. It use to have alot of steam come out and it smelt really good now it barely smells like it's supposed to I got the euky lavender oil that you can get and that doesn't even smell like lavender. Show details
