Evermire Two in One Oil Dispenser
1 review
On my first order, the packaging was subpar. The boxes were crushed, which was concerning that the glass bottles are inside the boxes, which were wrapped by nothing other than the plastic courier bag. So it is no surprise that the boxes were crushed. But surely, if you have glass items within a flimsy box, you'd secure those boxes with more than just a courier bag. Nonetheless, the items did not seem to be broken. One of the two oil bottles adequately atomised oil, the other one, when unpackaged, I found it had some liquid in it. Had it been used, and then returned for some reason? I don't know, but I washed it incredibly thoroughly with detergent to be sure. Turns out, the atomiser did not work at all, it sprayed to the side. After emailing straight away my concerns, I didn't hear anything back until I started following up by social media. Eventually after several emails I got support. They demanded a video of it not working, so I did that, along with following their instructions to pump it a few times with hot water - like I hadn't already tried. Okay, so after literally about one HUNDRED times, getting very aggressive with the pumping action, it finally unclogged itself. I can't help but suspect, someone had returned this already, due to the moisture inside it, and then they sent it straight back out to me.
Foolishly, after thinking that it must have been a once-off, and seeing the glowing reviews on their website (which I now realise, I cannot contribute a review to, how interesting! where do their reviews come from if not genuine buyers!?) I made another order for another two bottles. One bottle works fine, but again, another does not. Within half a bottle of soy sauce, the lever does not spring up anymore. So I've emailed them within a couple weeks of it arriving explaining that it's broken way too quickly. Several weeks later, again, no response. Nothing. So I'm emailing again, and writing this review.
It's fine to have some quality issues if you can back it up. Asking your customer to TAKE A VIDEO of it not working, several weeks after NOT RESPONDING, seems like they're just trying to make it too difficult to get any support, and then people will softly lose their frustration and not bother to leave a review of their genuine thoughts.
