EzyDog Express Harness

Great, easy to fit – Love this product and supplier. Had issue with one 12 months after buying. They replaced it no problems. Now that's great service

Suits some dogs but not others – Hubby and I bought 2 of these harnesses for our Mini Schnauzer and Silky Terrier dogs. We got the mini schnauzers one first from a pet store and it fit her perfectly. (She is a larger mini and weighs 9kgs) so later we ordered the 2nd one online as the petstore didn't have one small enough for our silky terrier. Things I like: 1) So easy to use after the initial fitting, just throw it over their head and snap at the side. 2) The build quality is amazing 3) Comes in a vast array of sizes 4) Back attaching 5) Reflective 6) Customizeable with little velcro patches on the sides. 7) LOOOVE that it has the handle at the back. Makes grabbing the dog SO easy!

Things I don't like: 1) To get a decent fit, the throat strap has to be above the dogs 'collar bone'/chest spot. Meaning it sits on their actual throat and can choke them if they pull too much. But if you loosen it, it allows the whole thing to slide side to side. 2) The fit is near impossible to get right on some dogs. It gave my silky terrier blood blisters all over her back and sides and arm pit areas due to an ill fit. Too lose and it rolls on the dog and pulls to the side when the leash takes up and too tight and it gives them blood blisters and friction burns and is uncomfortable around the belly and throat. 3) On the smaller one, because the webbing is so heavy duty, its actually really stiff and hard and sharp in places against the dogs skin- again- contributing to chafing and rope burns. 4) Can choke the dog if they pull hard enough but yet if you loosen the neck straps the whole thing slides around and the dog can get out of it. We just could NOT get a decent fit with our silky terrier (who weighs 5.8kgs)

We had a winner with our mini schnauzer dog, who happily runs around in hers and it's wonderful for her, but it was a complete and painful failure for our Silky Terrier. So now its her car harness for only in the car and she is back to using her little favourite collar.

My best advice when looking at these harnesses (or any by EziDog) is to definitely place it ON your dog before buying. They are well made but definitely not 1 type fits all. (This is our 3rd try of this brand for our Silky terrier)
