Feliway Diffuser and Spray

Vet recommended but didn't work – After 3 trips to the clinic about the problem, My vet recommended the friends feliway diffuser for my 7 month old kitten who has a constant runny irritated eye. I also have a 3 year old cat. I've been using it for 2 months and her eye has gotten worse, certainly not better. tension but if anything I noticed an increase in angst cat behavior. I ended up nicknaming the diffuser $100 fight juice. In my opinion it either did nothing or didn’t work. I felt myself that I had a sore throat and ended up moving it out of my bedroom due to headaches but can’t say definitively it was the spray causing that. It could just be that the lactating mother pheromones were too much in the female cat household. I’d like to try the original product which is the facial pheromones but it’s just too expensive after first fail. They need a week sized trial bottle - I’ve got the diffuser now but testing the alternative is too costly to risk.

longer affectionate and started scratching us. His appetite dropped dramatically and he became painfully thin . It was agony for everyone until we bought the Feliway Spray. I was doubtful ,but desperate however 5 minutes later we had a brand new cat ! I sprayed a blanket and a bed and although he walked off initially, I brought him back to the spot and not only did he settle ,but started purring. Now he sleeps at night (and as a result so do we), I use the spray in his favorite spots in the morning and again at night with magical results. Not only is our cat calm and happy ,but he is also super affectionate again and even playing again.His appetite has increased and he his eating well. I heartily recommend this product . It seems to take affect after a minute so if you spray and your cat walks off just bring him/her back to the spot and enjoy the results. I paid $79 at my local vets ,but have found the product elsewhere for $46.It's best to search online for the cheapest option, but whatever the cost it is worth the price !

Thought this is another gimmick but approaching desperation, thought it was worth a shot. Day 1 of the diffuser being plugged in, all 3 kitties were so chilled! Massive difference. Day 6 now and it's like we have a different cat! She's not running from us, not biting, attacking the others and slowly, her litter habits are much improving, although we still need to monitor carefully. For the past 2 nights, they have all been left together and not separated for the first time in 3 weeks! Would recommend this product to anyone whose cat is proving difficult to deal with. Much quieter and happier household.

Always great results – I’ll start by saying I feel for the people who have said bad reviews, cats are tricky especially introducing new friends and taking in strays. So happy with this – My male cat is not desexed because I intend to breed him and he has been driving me insane with howling and mating calls all night . Great product – The Feliway Diffuser is great. My cat scratches a lot at furniture and is left alone a lot due to my commitments and I can tell where she's been in the house from her scratching and hair loss. she sleeps and I noticed the first few nights she wouldn't sleep in her normal spot but has started sleeping there again. She's been very cuddling and not running around the house as much. She did seem a bit unsettled the first few days but seems more settled now.

No effect at all – Our cat becomes very stressed in the car so have sprayed Feliway in his carrier 10 mins before his trip to the vet on several occasions hoping to calm him down. Not Worth The Money – I bought this so that my cat would not be stressed out on the 6hr. drive home. I followed the instructions and after about 20 min. put her in the carrier. From the time I closed the door on it until I let her out at home she was yowling, rolling over and grabing through the door trying to get out. I felt horrible. What a waste of money – We spent $108.00 on this product as we adopted a 6 month old feral and was told this would work to help settle her in. We were also told that it would last up to two months. Well it did not last the time we were told lucky to last three weeks also the unit itself got very hot. We found it had no affect should have spent the money on food for ourselves. Use methylated spirits and save yourself money! – I have a desexed 2-year-old adult female inside cat who is very on-edge when our feral neighbours' male undesexed cats are on heat outside our window - to the point where she won't even finish her dinner. At $A74, Feliway contains exactly the same amount of ethanol as in methylated spirits (89% or so) and works just as poorly. Biggest rip-off for a cat product I have ever experienced. Show details

5 stars for the product, 1 star for the price – Feliway is a wonderful product. I have one anxious cat and another is sometimes aggressive towards her. Feliway noticeably makes both cars relax. However the cost is not sustainable. I bought 2 refills and a spray bottle and it cost $212! I can’t pay for 2 refills each month at more than $70 each. Great product – I got a new pup and my cat didn't like him he was stressed and started peeing blood. The vet reccomended feliway its made a huge difference my cat is more relaxed and more happy. Hasn't had any more blood in his urine for the last 10 weeks. Great product. Show details

Both my boys can't get away from this quick enough – Unfortunately does not work for my boys. If I use the spray they won't go near the area I have sprayed. When the diffuser is plugged in they act like they want to run away, both meowingnot knowing what way to run. I really wish this was successful.  Show details

Strong burning smell beware – I used to think this plug with refill was good but after refill bottle 3 I'm not convinced. The plug gets very hot and it has a burning smell with the Feliway refill in it. It's a distinct smell, whereas initially there was no smell at all. aware of this? If it is the case, then what a rip off and landfill disaster from the manufacturer which will only give them more sales. It's not a cheap product in the first place! My plug and refill are now my bin. I'm not prepared to use it anymore and risk a fire. It stinks!

Feliway - we sprayed it onto a pad in her carrier and the effect was almost immediate, she calmed down, allowed the vet to examine her and stopped stressing out. I now use it when people come to visit and she is almost a different cat. I am really grateful to the vet for introducing me to this product. It has seriously changed her life.

This is awesome – I was a bit sceptical about this at first but thought I'd give it ago. I have a 7yr old cat that has bad anxiety she would attack, pull her fur out pee and accurately spray, after a week of using this she has calm down and started using the litter. 4 months later and still going good

This product is magic ! – Adopted an older kitty who is very scared. After a week of her hiding under the bed and stress peeing on my sons clothes, I bought the spray and the plug in. cat. She's ultra smoochy, chilled out like I've never seen and just now I picked her up for the very first time. She wasn't in love with the idea and I only held her for 20 seconds, but she didn't try and get away or flee when i placed her back down. I will buy again for sure!!

Works like a charm! – Our very curious and confident cat became stressed from some changes around the home. Was recommended by a vet to try Feliway and I couldn't be happier. Calm cats – Yep it works. We have 2 rescue cats, a biggie boy and a littlie girl. Lots of bullying by the biggie drove the littlie to destroy the joint. Shredded furniture and racing around at night emitting horrendous yowls. One of them had to go! Feliway has had a miraculous effect Peace reigned

who knew..... After having this in for the first day I noticed a small but increasing change, she stopped hiding, became more affectionate, and even stopped hissing at the other cat. (who has also calmed down in excessive affection.

stressed to be picked up or be in the same room as him. I purchased feliway to help reduce her stress levels and to help with his dominating behaviour.

I received this 3 days ago and I can already see a huge improvement. My girl is so much calmer, they do still have slight disagreements but they don’t chase each other around agressively. She will even sit near him, though she occasionally grumbles at him.

I wish I had bought this earlier!

We were skeptical and thought we had just blown $49.95 - but to our surprise - he went up to it straight away - and commenced "loving" the post - and then started scratching. Since then (2 weeks) - he has not scratched anywhere else in the house.

So fingers crossed - when the new lounge arrives - it's not going to get the thrashing the other one has had.

Highly recommend you give this product a go.
