Fenix PD35
1 review
flood light in your pocket – ok so i have always used torches like dolphin, magnalite, etc. which are ok if your in a small area and only want to see directly in front of you, but when i moved out to 2.5 acres, the torches were useless seeing past 50m.....so i decided to get a proper torch and along came the fenix PD35 tac. with 1000 lumens max and with 4 other modes which lower the lumens and just about sits in the palm of your hand, this torch is incredible.
when i shine down my property now, it lights the yard like a floodlight. objects are clearly visible easily over 100m.
i got the charger with it and rechargeable battery. power last a while. charged mine and month ago and is still powering on.
the actual build of the torch itself is of high quality. very solid but light. has a clip so you can put in your pocket and won't fall out.....or can use the carry case it comes with.
you definitely would not want to shine this baby in anyones eyes. it is very very bright. it has a strobe mode too which would set off any person with epilepsy.
overall for a total of $220 aud including the battery and charger from LE Gear, this is a serious torch and excellent for camping, hunting, spotlighting wildlife, etc.
if you remember crocodile dundee where he says 'that aint a knife'? .......well if someone whips out a dolphin or a magnalite torch, you could be sure to say 'that aint a torch, this is a torch" and stun them with the fenix PD35 tac!
comes with 5 years warranty and free lifetime service
