work. When I choose Wired Headphones the Sound Bar starts working and sounds good but after 2 seconds it goes off on live TV. I've tried all of the audio settings and this happens with every setting. Sound comes out of the Sound Bar but only lasts 2 seconds. If I touch keys on the remote and navigate through the settings though the rest of the menu the Sound Bar will continuously work and emit sound for as long as I keep pressing keys on the remote. When I stop pressing buttons, the sound bar cuts out after 2 seconds. However, the sound bar works on everything else. YouTube app. Netflix app. Just not TV unless I'm pressing remote buttons...

After a while it stopped working altogether - didn't work on any app. It said it was connected but no sound. The TV isn't the greatest quality - you can tell Ffalcon's are poorly built and loaded up with the lowest grade specs and software but a simple speaker should work. I called Ffalcon support. After 20 minutes of confirming my name and the model of TV I had to wait on hold only for the Indian call center to come back and try basic trouble shooting like go into audio settings and change the setting or turn the TV on and off. The soundbar doesn't work on ANY app or live TV any more now. It works perfectly fine on everything else in the house though...

Went to the store and asked and they said Ffalcon isn't very good and that even Ffalcon branded soundbars could have this issue as the Android TV on every single Ffalcon model is exactly the same, is poorly designed and is cheap/inferior. Soundbars and other things just might not work on any Ffalcon TV? AVOID Ffalcon AT ALL COSTS!

The TV set that makes it difficult to actually watch TV – I bought the FFalcon 40” S53 FHD Smart TV from JB HiFi after having previously installed one in the kitchen. The one I bought today is allegedly an upgraded version but the remote is complete rubbish. There is no numeric pad so changing channels means running through 60+ to get from top to bottom. means you have to give google permissions for location and everything you watch. I think it's none of their business. It's the TV set that makes it difficult to actually watch TV as it seems geared to subscription channels. Made by TCL so I assume their TV's lack the same common sense in their design. All in all it's one big disappointment.
