Split a long invoice set into individual files. Exact stayed names. Thanks a lot.
Scam. Avoid. My elderly father signed up and thought he'd paid a one off charge, and sadly died a week later A week after his death files-editor took ZAR945 (around $60) from his account. I contacted support multiple times asking for a refund. They refused. And insultingly offered him a lifetime license instead. Insisting that their "policy"… Read more
doesn't allow them to refund, despite the terms on their website saying they do refund, under their own discretion
tasteless. scammy. avoid
I paid a small fee to edit one pdf, then was fraudulently signed up and charged US$50/AU$71.43 for a monthlly subscription I never signed up for. I have cancelled the subscription (that I didn't select) but they made this as difficult as possible. I contacted customer support to complain and demand a refund and received an initial reply from Anna… Read more
saying she had forwarded my request to her superior. I then received an email from Allen saying that customer satisfaction is their priority so they have upgraded me to a lifetime free subscription - which I definitely don't want as I don't want any association with this company. I have again requested a full refund. Do NOT use this company for any offer at all or they will have your details.
The worst scamming company. They took some money from me against my consent and even if I requested twice to get refunded, they were saying that's we can only give you a lifetime deal, which I never asked for. Terrible customer service and honestly stay away from them, completely unreliable and untrustworthy. They never listen and I firmly… Read more

Do Not Sign Up: Files‑Editor.com Took My Money and Refused to Refund I’m writing this review after an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with Files‑Editor.com. I want to warn others before they end up in the same situation. 1. Unauthorised Charges I was charged for a membership I never used, approved, or intended to keep. Even… Read more
worse, the charge went through despite cancelling on time. This alone is unacceptable.
2. Customer Support That Goes Nowhere I reached out multiple times, and every single reply was the same automated, copy‑paste message saying they “do not do refunds.” No human response. No investigation. No willingness to resolve anything.
It genuinely feels like contacting them is a waste of time.
3. “Lifetime Membership” Used as a Cover Instead of addressing the unauthorised charge, they tried to “compensate” me by giving me a lifetime membership — something I never asked for and will never use.
This is not compensation. This is a tactic to avoid issuing refunds while keeping your money.
4. Serious Concerns About Their Business Practices Based on my experience, I believe they rely on:
Free trials that convert into charges even when cancelled
Automated responses designed to block refunds
Offering meaningless “lifetime access” instead of resolving the issue
This behaviour raises red flags about the legitimacy and ethics of their service.
5. Next Steps I will be:
Filing a formal complaint in Australia
Lodging a chargeback dispute with my bank
Reporting the pattern of behaviour so others are aware
6. Final Warning Do NOT sign up for a free trial. Do NOT enter your card details. Do NOT assume you can cancel safely.
If you value your time, money, and sanity, stay far away from Files‑Editor.com.
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience using File Editor. I signed up for what was advertised as a free trial and, despite barely using the service, was required to enter payment details upfront just to explore the platform. I received no reminder, invoice, or warning that the trial period was ending, and then a very large amount was… Read more
suddenly charged to my card.
To make matters worse, when I contacted support to request a refund, it was repeatedly denied. Instead of addressing the issue properly, they offered me “lifetime access” to a service I neither need nor found useful. Unfortunately, the platform offers very little that cannot already be accessed for free elsewhere.
As an independent designer, unexpected charges like this have a real financial impact. The entire experience has felt deeply unfair and extremely frustrating. I would strongly encourage others to read the terms very carefully before signing up.
L@@K!!!! Do NOT sign up for this service. NOT even the free trial offer, as they continue to charge you, even if you cancel during the free trial period. I cancelled on the first trial day, and I've still been charged $150 Cdn. Offered to refund one overcharge, but insist on keeping other fees charged. But still ZERO refund received. Better… Read more
Business Bureau has hi-lighted this company's failure to stop their illegal billing charges or dealing with legitimate customer complaints.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
Hard to even give them a "1" when they deserve a -10 score.
Scam do not use. The fine print is so small it is barely readable. No email invoice sent and then they charged me $72 for a subscription.
This company Pdfcharge.com advertises as a Pdf file editing company and for a miniscule amount like €1.40 you can make use of their services. On the 12th of Feb. this year I made use of this company to edit a Pdf file and paid what I thought was a… Read more
one off payment of €1.43 for the service, unbeknown to me these RIP OFF MERCHANTS then proceeded to set up a subscriotion on my Bank Account for a monthly subscription of €49.95 which they then proceeded to withdraw from my account on the 20th of Feb. WITHOUT MY CONSENT OR PRIOR KNOWLEDGE . I have reported this fraudulent transaction to my Bank and wish to warn people not to use this company's "services" as they will rip you off without you even knowing, there are plenty of complaints about them on reddit and the internet. Be warned.
Follow-up · When I demanded my money back from them as I was never informed at the start that it was a subscription they first said they would change my "membership" to a lifetime FREE subscription, told them I wasn't interested and they could do one and I didn't hear from them again after that until I reclaimed my money through my bank when they finally… Read more
