Seemed like a really good product, but just out of the warranty period… – Purchased this as part of our kitchen renovation and we haven't been disappointed. It works really well and the flexibility of having two drawers is excellent. This was expensive to buy at almost $1.8K but we feel that this reflects the good design and build quality. We are sure that it will last us a good time. Edit: Just under 2 years after we… Read more

purchased this we began to experience an intermittent issue with the top drawer and a recurring ‘A6’ error. It deteriorated earlier this year (2025) to such an extent that the top drawer became unusable. As it was then outside the warranty period we were obliged to pay over $300 for a service technician to diagnose and replace the failed water pump. We were NOT happy given how much we paid for this appliance and that the issue started while it was within the warranty period.

F&P subsequently agreed to reimburse the cost of the part and the labour ($134) but were not willing to cover the call out fee for the service technician to diagnose and quote for the repair ($199). We have accepted this, but NOT happily.

Definitely not recommended – I owned the previous model (15 years old) and did not hesitate to purchase the current model. I follow the manual carefull; I ensure the wash is not overstacked and have used the right amount of soap (including a quality brand/Fxxxxh) and yes, I use Fxxxxxh rinse aid and ensure it is topped up.I clean the filter much more than the recommended time… Read more

suggested in the manual. Very few washes have cleaned everything, fewer leave everything dry. Positives: glass racks are sturdy, plates racks are adjustable. That's about it. Negatives: Stacking must be precise - there is absolutely no tolerance for stacking incorrectly. If you make a small mistake when stacking, it is very easy to stop the spinning arm. The previous model had the same spinner system yet the racks were much more forgiving. Note: I am careful to stack - all similar plates are placed together, glasses at top, mugs at bottom items placed to drain properly, etc. Cutlery is rarely completely clean or dry - at a guess 1/4 to 1/3 needs a re-wash - and again we are not cramming the basket. I can always shake water out after a wash cycle and if rice is involved, it is almost guaranteed to be somewhere on a spoon. We give plates a light rinse in water before stacking - I realise things like avocado don't come off easily - I'm talking about normal usage here. My rule is, if there is visible food on anything, I use heavy cycle. Occasionally I will use medium cycle. Never, never use rinse, eco or fast cycles. I am ready to sell thsi unit at a loss, and look to a conventional washer that ... wait for it... one that washes! Fisher and Paykel, this product contains some improvements however I now think too much thought has gone into it, you have over engineered some things and it seems that water flow is restricted through the stronger racks and baskets. as such, the effectiveness of washes has decreased considerably. I am thoroughly disappointed in this product. It does not compete against my now dead 15+ year old equivalent - the old one, in its dying years washed dishes far more effectively. Anyone interested in buying mine? I wont let you!

Never had a double dish drawer dish washer. This is fantastic – The double dish drawer leaves my dishes clean and sparkling - along with glasses and delicate items. Very happy with my purchase. Have recommended this to other family members as well.

Good dishwasher, love the drawers – Bought this for my family of 4. It's better than a full size dishwasher because you can fill one drawer then click go, and keep filling the other drawer. With a smaller family, it would take longer to efficiently fill the whole thing - have 3 days of dishes in there. It cleans well even on the 48 minute cycle, and does everything we expect it to. Owned for 5 years.

Good product, good quality – This is a great product. You essentially have two dishwashers instead of one. Great for small loads as can use one drawer individually. The pump filter is easy to access, and the moving components are easy to remove for cleaning. The latest model is mainly of plastic construction so may get fragile over time. Overall a very good product and easy to use.  Show details

Sleek and functional – If you don’t have time you put it on fast mode, and it cleans well or on normal mode it’s so sparkley and clean, I love that it’s got two draws and you can do a load and then another load at the same time. It’s so spacious, this is our second time getting this dishwasher, we love it and highly recommend it.  Show details
