This review is specifically for the massage therapist who introduced herself as “Rain” (or “Reen”). For context, I only award five stars when there is truly nothing left to improve. A service‑based business—whether private, commercial, or governmental—is only as strong as the people who work within it. It’s remarkable how often otherwise intelligent individuals overlook this simple truth.

So let me emphasise it clearly: the real quality of this business lies in its massage therapists, not in the polished reception area or the pleasant tea served afterwards—though that was a nice “touch” of another kind.

About the missing star:

My four‑star rating simply reflects my belief that there is still room for improvement. To the owners and staff, please don’t take this as harsh criticism; it’s offered in the spirit of helping you elevate your service, enhance customer satisfaction, and ultimately increase your earning potential.

What could be improved:

• English communication skills. Assuming most clients communicate in English—and I’m confident that’s the case—stronger language skills would make a meaningful difference.

I say this from experience. I once worked in the food industry exclusively in customer‑facing roles, and I consistently became the top performer in attracting and retaining customers—encouraging repeat visits and driving overall sales. At one family‑owned restaurant, I helped grow the business four‑fold in two years. The owners were a superstitious bunch and half‑jokingly suspected me of practising “voodoo,” but the truth was far simpler: exceptional English communication. The right words, delivered with politeness, clarity, and sincerity, can transform a customer’s experience and build lasting trust. The food was both good and good‑value, so sincerity came naturally.

(Years earlier, I was fired from a sales job for being “too truthful” with a customer—even though I was the top seller in a team of twelve. The customer was an elderly lady who suspected, quite rightly, that she was being pressured to buy expensive services she didn’t need.)

In a health‑related field such as Thai massage, the ability to communicate with precision and detail is even more important. A therapist who takes this advice seriously could easily rise above others in her profession.

One more note: I experienced some shoulder‑socket pain the day after the massage—not severe, but noticeable. On day two, there is still a slight ache. Perhaps this is unavoidable, but it’s worth mentioning.

In short, I will be returning for another massage.
