Fluval Curve Aquarium 32L

Nice fish tank but multiple problems – I purchased this fish tank from petbarn and after having it for approximately 4 months I started to see a salt crust on the edge of the lid. I called the store who told me to bring in the tank, I explained that I have cycled my tank for 3 weeks and now have fish in the tank and that this option is not possible. I told them that i could take the lid off as you only have to remove 2 pins to take off the lid. I took the lid back into the store and replaced the lid with a new one. 8 months later the lid is doing the same thing but not only that now the 2 touch button light switches internally work and will sometimes turn on all by themselves. I have had to resort to turning the light on and off via the switch and when it is not on I can't trust the light switch to be left in the on position as the light might just turn on automatically when it feels like it.
