Be very careful with Fresha. They will overcharge and contest every legitimate claim. Once they eventually concede you will get credits. Very untrustworthy company from the top to the bottom. STAY AWAY

FRESHA have been messaging me text messages for months and months! Numerous times! I don't even have an account with them. They've acknowledged my messages and again now getting messages on WhatsApp - I'm taking them to the regulators, I have had enough!

DO NOT USE! Takes out incorrect (very large) fees, deactivates the account on its own accord and won’t let you reactivate, won’t respond to emails and has no contact number if you’re not premium! When you put in your bank account details to try and reactivate your account it rejects it and you get sent numerous of the below responses it would be zero stars if I could

extras, you have to keep paying more. This is absolutely disgusting at the pricing. Highway robbery they would definitely lose a lot of loyal customers who have been with them for ten plus years.I am one of them Also, when I told them, I've been a customer with them, and it was very In illgeal of them to just all of a suddenly charge us, or we lose all access to plateform which I have thousands of dollars of prepaid clients in there. And if I knew I would have never allowed my customers to prepay and now the icing on top of the cake, my credit card expired, and then they have just now blocked me off the up. I cannot get any access. And apparently they say they charge you because they give you great customer service. And I still have not heard back 2 days now as I was getting a bit of a discount because I complained that they said that this would be a free. Website for ever, which is not the case. And that was false advertising to lock us into customers. Prepaying a lot of money for them to change their mind and make it a paid service. Now I cannot get into my account as I am waiting for them to give me the original price of the $32 instead of the $45 a month. It's just a terrible app, and it's getting worse and worse, very greedy company should definitely report them to higher level and would definitely be looking at cheaper companies as this online system is horrible as they Can automatically cut your account without you even realising. It's better to get software where they do not have online rights to just cancel your account. That's what they want to do on their own. I do not recommend this as owner in buinesa and will look elsewhere. Because once you do prepaid, you are locked into them until your customers finish the prepaids. Harbible company, very deceptive, horrible and deceptive company, claiming they would never ever charge us. And then all of a sudden, it's just fees over fees over fees and highly exbsorbed fees.

disregarded. I have reported to the ACCC but I don't expect anything will come of it. This is after years of increasing 'paid features' and reducing access to what used to be standard. 20% fee for new marketplace clients, a bit steep. Lost client notes and zero accountability. All I can do is go elsewhere and hope others do too. Disgusting, dishonest practise. There are much better and more affordable platforms around, don't support the company that doesn't support you.

know your brand? Like this? Yeah great, Fresha are a dodgy, unethical business to invest/ use, ahh yeah f no. Or/ plus, your systems are weak and vulnerable to cyber attacks, they allow customers privacy to be violated. If this was a genuinely ethical business there would be an opt out option. The message 'Dear Tammy (who Tammy is, no idea) confirming your booking XYZ, click link to manage'. The only option I have, when I get these pathetic attempts to scam me one way or another, is to send it direct to the commission against cyber attacks. Such losers. Please fail so decent businesses can prosper and take your place. Update 7/5, tried posting review on Trustpilot 1st, but r'cved reply from Trustpilot saying this review wont be accepted unless I fully identify myself to the fraudulent business Im complaining about. Lol. Again, why no unsubscribe in txt if is legitimate. Joke. So I'm posting here.

promises and they need to be held accountable for these actions. They have also stored my creditcard details without my permission.

As a customer there is no way to buy someone a gift card for the service without signing up and handing over your personal details. Needs a guest checkout function. Blatent data grab and I will choose not to buy from companies using Fresha.

assume I had until the 9th the following month to cancel my MONTHLY subscription. I was charged today (1st Dec) and was shocked as I had intentions and a reminder set to cancel before the 9th. I contacted Customer Service to see if they will honour my request as I contacted them as soon as my bank charge was processed. They came back with "we can't refund you because you have access to the premium features for the full billing period", but I offered to pay for just today's access and revoke the rest of the month but nope, talking to customer service is like talking to a broken record

TLDR; platform hard to navigate and cancel plan, billing period not clear, deceiving website, poor customer satisfaction

Do NOT book appointments through Fresha… if you cancel you do not get a refund back to account!!! It goes to someone else’s account… you can’t contact them only through email and they don’t respond!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!

not take no for an answer to the point I had to hang up as I had clients waiting for me. Today the same lady called again to ask if I had read the email she sent to me after our call last time! I said No because I said I wasnt interested and again she tried to convince me. As a busy salon owner I find this very annoying and time wasting. Clients and myself charged surcharge using eftpos. Promises broken by Fresha and the team. Otherwise phenomenal app it self. Worse company I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with.

Fresha has to be the most disgusting and dodgy company to ever trust with your running your own small business. They will take whatever percent they want off of what you make and then if you have clients booking in and they don’t show up they’re going to take how much they want so for example if you have somebody booked in for $180 worth of services they’re gonna steal $46 out of your personal account so consider that when you sign up with them.

NOW they want to charge a monthly subscription to use the software on top of these fees! The last 3 months I've had countless mistakes using this app. Client's have had issues with cancelling/rescheduling their own appoitnments online, notifications not coming thorough, cards being charged. I've had so many issues with the app itself not loading or being SO slow that I purchased a new phone thinking it was because my phone was so old. Nope it's even slower on the new phone, doesn't load half of the time and I have to close and reopen the app. Very unprofessional looking when you're checking out a client.

Super disappointing when they just keep adding fees but give nothing, text or emails through the service are so expensive we've had to stop advertising that way, which is the reason we signed up in the 1st place, lots of costs just start getting added in, I wouldn't recommend

This fee is charged even if customers were introduced to the salon by the salon's Google, Facebook, Instagrams, as well as by friends / relatives who have already been regular customers of the salon. will be raised right for the 1st time a customer booked with a salon like "Have you been here before or 1st time with the salon?". This question covers all cases even if customers found the salon via the salon's Google, Instagram, Facebook, or their friends /relatives' introduction. This is not right since those advertising portals belong to the salon originally, why does Fresha play any role of "introduction of new customer" here? Logically, the only case for Fresha to correctly charge this "Introduction fee" is only for anyone who searched for a service using the Fresha app (it means Fresha App plays a role of introducing a customer to the salon). Please be noticed that Fresha already charges Monthly subscriptions for each bookable staff (if you have 10 staff, you will pay nearly AUD 300 per month).

For the first several months grand opening my salon, I did not noticed this hidden fee, and I ended up to pay around AUD 2,000 for the "New Fresha customer introduction fee", while most of them were searching for my salon via Google, Instagram, Facebook, some of them were introduced by their friends or relatives, some of them even my past customers (but I had had not taken their names, and they started booking for 1st time). Fresha did not play any role to introduce new customers in these cases, how ridiculous it is for Fresha to charge me this hidden and cheating fee?

A terrible experience and an awful haircut. I spent AUD 89.50 for an hour of disappointment. The service simply wasn’t worth the excessively high price. Definitely I will never come back.

not happy about this however I have signed up for now to see how it goes. Unfortunately they decided to charge me for 4 team members from March 1st, WHICH I in fact archived this team member by March 1st as she ceased employment on the 27th. It also turns out the quote I was given per team member of course did not include gst so when they debited the amount, it was even more than the “discounted” monthly payment that was mentioned. AND they also charged me for 4 billable team members from March 1st when there were only 3. Since I have been a loyal customer for awhile now, I emailed them and advised them they had made a mistake by charging me for 3 not 4. And that the 4th staff member I had been charged for was not working or bookable, in fact, archived. They replied fighting me back about the charge insisting I had to pay for 4 team members. I was expecting rational customer service treatment from this company, considering they were charging me for a subscription/service that I was not actually RECEIVING at all. They basically received money from me for NOTHING. Then continued to try to fight me back in email replies about how it’s my issue. Now it’s only $20 something dollars I am contesting, but the principle is I am not receiving anything for the payment made. Nothing. And I am a continuing customer for this company. You would think they would at least be offering me a credit for the next month since I am paying for an absent team member. No such case. They continued to argue with me over email. No apologies, no kindness. I will be reporting them to the ACCC for consumer misconduct and I am sure I will be able to find other disgruntled customers to join me in building a case against them. Do not use this booking system. They are dishonest, dodgy, unhelpful and now over priced. Try Timely for a user friendly booking system and customer service.

Big Change from free to charging – From complete Free in the past then charge 20% for first time customer now by 1St March 2025 you have to pay for month Subscription if not your account will be remove. Time to find another place or just go back to pen and book or offline booking software

Totally scam and rip off! – Extremely unprofessional and disappointing experience. The team lacks basic communication skills and shows no regard for client feelings or concerns. The 20% online booking fees are totally scam and rip off! The charged the fees on my own client and even no shows! It feels like their primary focus is just on money rather than delivering quality service or building trust. Would not recommend.
