Fuji is making garbage , had this printer for some time, no way to get out of 2220000 error code, there is no instructions or support, scum corporates just want to junk after short time and buy new stuff. do not get xerox or fuji printers. Show details
The worst printer I have ever owned in 30 years of business – The worst printer I have ever owned in 30 years of business, I bought this printer from officeworks about 18 months ago and I have had nothing but trouble with paper jamming constantly and now it has just stopped working that sounds like cogs slipping I have always used Fuji but I we be thinking twice on my next purchase.
Absolute Rubbish - Very Disappointed – Slowest printer I have ever owned. Constantly sounds like a slipping cog trying to load toner since almost new. Just a rubbish printer, just waiting for the toner to run out so I can bin it & buy something else. I honestly expected a better product from Fuji Xerox Show details
Extremely Disappointed – Purchased this printer to replace my old CM205FW (which was awesome) and I’ve had nothing but trouble and disappointment with it since day one. Print quality is poor with the toner often not adhering to the paper and flaking off to other parts of the document being printed. Also this printer will jam when you try to print on paper more than 100gsm… Read more
but often jams even on regular 80gsm.
Printer regularly resets itself to factory settings so I have to always set paper size to A4 and the wifi will NOT connect. Bought this printer because my previous CM205FW was exceptional quality for the price and lasted about 8 years before the drum died. This replacement machine is an absolute lemon and I can safely say it will be the last Fuji Xerox I buy. It’s just over 12 months old and I hate it. It’s not even good enough to be a boat anchor!
Love it – I bought this printer for my kids for Christmas in 2016. I love the printer and how it prints. We love how we can print through Airdrop and from any device. I’ve never had a problem with it even with the connection with the internet. The only down fall with this printer, the cartridge’s are very expensive compared to others at $110 each and there are 4 so $440 to keep printing. Show details
Excellent printer – I have had no issues with this printer purchased from Officeworks 2015. The quality is amazing .im not sure why there’s been so many negative feedback for this product. I love it and so do my children who are teachers. it’s easy to use and has been reliable from day 1. Show details
Not happy, Fuji Xerox! – Printer given to me by my children on 28/12/2017. I have put through less than half a ream of paper in that time, so low usage. Copied/scanned pages come out with two thick black lines the length of the page. Tech support person from Fuji Xerox suggested i clean the glass and white plate on top, no success! His next suggestion was to find a repair… Read more
person in the Yellow Pages as it is no longer under warranty!!! (by two weeks!!) Surely a $395 piece of equipment should last more then a year!!! ,Australian Consumer Law requires a product to be fit for purpose and be guaranteed for life. and not just infancy!
Officeworks no longer stock Fuji Xerox printers!!! Does that say something about Fuji Xerox reliability and customer service??
This is perfect for my need! – I love how the ink doesn’t dry out if you don’t use them from time to time and it does colour, b&w printing, scan and photocopy. I haven’t had any problem with this machine, I think I’ve had it for 2 years or less and never had a problem. Printing quality is soap, not very sharp, but enough for my use. Show details
ACL – Under Australian Consumer Law all companies guarantee their product for life. This has nothing to do with warranty - this is a redundant expense used now as a con to unsuspecting customers! Talk to them about their obligations - it is covered under 'major fault' and all costs are recoverable - the purchaser choses - not the company! Show details
Waste of Money – As per other reviews, printer died within six months. Fuji Xerox were very good at replacing under warranty, however the replacement died within four months. The third machine lasted nine months, then had the same problem. Conveniently for Fuji Xerox, the original warranty has now run out and apparently the 12 month warranty starts from the… Read more
original purchase date (not the replacement machine date). Do not buy this machine. It is a waste of a lot of money! Very disappointed with a brand that I had previously trusted.
Useless bit of expensive crap.....be warned! – Within 6 months of buying this it failed, Fuji Xerox replaced it, the replacement failed, again it was replaced.... 3 times it was replaced all within 18 months. In between these epic fails it was slow, scanner didn't work. Be warned it is a useless product. Not happy at all. Show details
Photocopier function is great, Complete failure to reliably print from computer – This printer constantly loses wireless connection to the computer and constantly needs to be reconnected. Can't rely on it at all and crashes to the point where even though the wireless connection gets rebooted and is showing strong connection on the screen, it still comes up with error and can't print. I bought this for an educational business… Read more
which requires lots of printing, hoping that the laser printing would be a cheaper option - but the ink cartridges being in excess of $100 a pop result in a lot of money being spent each term, and to replace all 4 cartridges is nearly $500!!!!! OUCH!!!! Have tried connecting the printer via usb to the computer but it can't even work through that. The frustration this printer has caused and the time I have wasted reinstalling drivers, rebooting etc since purchasing it is unbelievable - wish I had never bought it!
Not a POS – I think it's a fine printer for the price. The usability is lacking. If I scan, I have to use a USB and sneaker net and the interface lacks elegance but for light home use it's fine. Network printing isn't a problem but I do have to reboot every once in a while. The cartridges have lasted over two years where I was changing out ink jet cartridges every 3-6 mos. I've had worse printers in the past ><. Show details

Worrest multifunction ever – Never again . Very hard to use . Stupid connectivity. Bad quality . Hard to install . Terrible software . So slow - toner never last . Problem every week scanner is do slow ! Resolution is so bad , wifi capability is very limited . Worst decision ever ! Show details
The printer cartridges lasted longer than the printer! – I bought this printer 14 months ago. Fuji xerox was recommended by a friend. Although slow, it was good enough for me. However, it stopped working about two weeks ago. The message reads Error 092-651 Code 2ee0000. I rang fuji xerox and they were less than helpful - however, they did make sure I knew that the warranty had expired (by a… Read more
whole 2 months to be precise). I was given the phone number for a local technician. The call out fee alone is $50 before they even look at it.
It seems as though I will have to buy another printer. What a waste of money. I am going to go to fair trading to see if this is acceptable. I don't think its unreasonable to expect a printer to outlast the cartridges it came with. The printer has had light use and still looks like new. I have not even got through the first set of ink cartridges.
Broken down processor in less than two years with slight use – I purchased this printer in January 2016 and found the printing is slow and quality average. It is used very little for teaching materials only. Two months ago it stopped printing alltogether with an messasge on the screen "processing". I contacted Fujixerox technician and advised that the processor is faulty and out of warranty. Now I have a full set of toners cannot be used. Please do not buy this model if you can. Show details
Terrible product and terrible support from Fuji Australia – The printer failed to print from the first day. Fuji acknowledged the failure and said it had to be replaced but said it could take weeks while in the meantime i was left without a functioning equipment. Fuji couldnt give me a date for replacement and wouldnt refund. I am now in the situation to seek redress through consumer protection agency. Show details
Waste of money – We unfortunately bought two of these. Both have been replaced within the first twelve months. Now their replacements are playing up and are about a month out of warranty. Chews through inks. We contact the service department and they keep saying they will call back with information, four times now, no call back. We will never buy Fuji printers again. Show details
Very average – The print quality is average, not as sharp print visibility when print colour picture. Refill toner is expensive and somehow the attachment area will cause a lot of the colour wastage to the cartridge. It has a few good function such as allowing wireless printing from other devices. Printing can sometimes take ages, it feel think it's thinking like ' do I want to print the next page or not'?! Show details
Pretty Crap! – Great printer to start with but print quality started to fade after cartridge replaced (Genuine). When you do the numbers, it is quite costly per print compared to other printers. Look elsewhere. I purchased a Brother MFC-L8600CDW for work and very happy with it. I intend to buy another brother (same model) for home and get rid of the Xerox and save the family arguments. Don't waste your money on this printer – I am in a middle of a report and the printer says, paper jam, open up rear door and remove the paper, guess what? there is no paper stuck. It won't scan either. I have to make a photo copy through my mac. The ink cartridges are very expensive. It costs about $550 when a place an order for black, cyan, yellow and magneta. Just so unhappy. Show details
Do Not Buy This (Wish I Could Give Less Than 1 Star) – I rarely leave reviews but had to leave one to warn anyone else even considering buying this. Simply put, don't buy this printer. Most frustrating printer/scanner/copier I've had the bad luck to use. Have had issues with printing and scanning since day one, wireless printing and scanning is simply rubbish and never works, even after multiple… Read more
counts of help from so-called tech support who remotely access and create profiles and download drivers to no avail. Don't expect them to keep a case history as well so you'll have to repeatedly explain the situation every single time and wait hours for them to 'diagnose' the issue and not get anything done.
Also tried downloading the newest drivers time after time after time after time (I could go on), but this device simply does not work.
Print/Scan quality is decent but not fantastic.
I'm writing this just before throwing out my printer which is simply more hassle than it's worth.
Do not get this.

Waste of money if you want a reliable printer. Copy and scan functions are fine though – This has got to be one of the worst printers I have ever purchased. Worked great for the first few month when connected through a wired LAN network. Had to switch to the wireless function due to running out of network ports. Wireless always drops out and can't connect even though signal strength is strong. Very slow printing, take ages to process… Read more
the print, but is fairly fast when actually printing. Constantly have to reinstall drivers to get it to reconnect. Doesn't take card stock. Now have a permanent error code (Code:2110000) and can do anything with it. It's out of warranty so will likely go to the rubbish which is a waste as it has newish toner cartridges installed. As a photocopier and scanner it works great. As a network printer this unit fails. A real shame as the printer looks great and has a user friendly touchscreen, but it's so buggy and unreliable. Going back to Brother printers as we have 4 of these in office and never any problems except for replacing toners and drums.
Purchased from Officeworks
Wish I'd read the reviews before buying – Woeful product. Incredibly hard to set up. Scan to email never works. Does not take light card stock very well if at all on most occasions. Do not waste your money on this. would be reluctant to touch the brand again as Customer Service and support was equally as bad. Always a long phone queue and after choosing the option for them to call back, they never do. Show details
Disposable printer – Print quality was fine initially, but started getting very faded black output after 12 months. Replacing toner cartridges/drums made no difference. Followed the troubleshooting instructions in the manual, without any improvement, so the final step (per the manual) was to contact Fuji Xerox Aus. Unfortunately they were not interested in… Read more
supporting the product. So now the printer is heading to the garbage dump, and I will never buy Fuji junk again.
Worst Printer Ever – We have had issues with the printer and scanner since purchasing 12 months ago. It is sooo slow and every month or so I have printing and scanning issues. The people at Fuji have been no help at all in fixing so I can scan. Its not worth the time I have to waste on it or the inconvenience in using it in a business setting. It has been nothing but a frustration. I had better performance out of a cheap cannon. TIME FOR A NEW PRINTER!!!!! Show details
Atrocious – It's slow. It will print one page every 15-30 seconds. I don't understand how they could release such a steamling pile of crap to the market. I think I waited 20 minutes for a 28 page document because of how slow this thing is. I am seriously considering taking it back, but it would be more satisfying to sacrifice it to the god of FIRE. Show details
It's a bit slow – I am a fairly light user, and use this machine only for occasional printing. For printing it's ok, decent quality black and white prints, never tried the colour prints so can't tell. Haven't had to refill yet so can't comment on that. For scanning it's a bit too slow, taking probably almost a minute per page, this is ok if it's just for one or 2 pages, but when you try to scan a 20 page document, it's unbearable. Show details
Good but very hard to setup – The machine is attractive and well-made. The display screen is super easy to operate. Setup is a different story though! I found the WIFI connection very weak (even though a WIFI Canon right next to it had no problems) so had to use an Apple Airport Express to increase the signal to benefit from the wireless printing. Setting up scanning was… Read more
INCREDIBLY hard as there is no bundle scanning software. It took me hours to work out the scan-to-email function (couldn't get it working with gmail, but could with optus email). The scan to folder on the computer was advanced and there is no way you could do it unless you were an advance computer user.
Really not made for home users even though that's what it's aimed for.
Does not Maintain WiFi Connection and Cannot do its claimed Scan To Email – It has a small footprint which makes it fit well as a home printer. My usage is low so I cannot comment on its durability. It disconnects from the WiFi network and will not reconnect unless you switch off the printer and then switch back on again. I would say that I have to restart the printer every 2 weeks. It claims to Scan To Email,… Read more
which does NOT work. This is due to it not supporting the latest industry standards used for prevention of email span and for security (for the technically minded; current SSL/TSL).
Pretty much all email services require user logins for both receiving and sending emails, and so this printer will not work sending scans to your email account. Hence, services such as Google, Microsoft, etc.
After considerable time spent with Fuji Support, the conclusion was that they will not be providing a printer update to fix this. Although this is the latest printer in this range, the last update (firmware) was done in June 2015!
Waste of time and money – The Fuji Xerox DocuPrint CM225 fw is a complete waste of our business' time and money. It's been replaced 4 times in a year. Do not purchase this printer. This printer has continually crashed and broken, leaving us without a printer in a very busy office, more times than it ever should. We are sick of the lack of communication with Fuji - who… Read more
have continually sent us faulty replacement toners for the last 3 weeks, leaving us without a working printer again!
The first time this printer broke was because of a paper jam that caused the printer to crash completely and no longer function. A simple jam and it couldn't handle itself after.
Please do not spend time and money on this product when there are much better options available out there.
