Fuji Xerox DocuPrint M355 df

EXCELLENCE PRODUCT AND REASONABLE PRICE - WORKING WELL – -Print quality is great -Price is reasonable, but most importantly you can save money. Other printers similar like samsung, HP, they have the same job, but the cartridge only last 1500 or 1600 pages, while this FUJI can last 10,000 pages. if you buy on ebay the Samsumg and HP cost around $16 to $21 compare to office store cost $99. But with FUJI you can buy 3 for the cost of $38 or $50. So work out you can save quite a lot, especially, I do lot of printing.
- We do not need bypass tray, if we could reduce that and put more room for tray 1 would be fantastic.
- We have 6 printers in 3 x SamSung, 2 HP, and 1 BROTHER in the office , now we buying more of FUJI and get rid all these printers as cartridge only last 1500 pages while FUJI last 10,000, more than 6 times for the same cost.

Good machine but expensive to run – Good machine prints are amazing quality but the cost per print is high compared to new technology on the market. The bypass tray is annoying sometimes but does the job. The wifi adapter is a god send and works perfectly and allows us to print without a cable. Overall a great machine but cost per print is high.

Works well if you don't need to ever use the bypass tray – Overall, this printer is fine if you don't ever need to use the bypass tray and don't need an additional tray. The output is decent quality (not quite as good as Fuji Xerox' true business grade machines but still good, even for images), fast, and the cost per page is quite reasonable. The scanner, copier and fax also work fine for the most part.
If you need to use the bypass tray even occasionally though, think twice about this machine. Its design is so hopelessly flawed that ours, which is used very rarely, has been replaced three times under warranty, all with exactly the same defect (the paper elevator mechanism at the back broke preventing the paper from ever contacting the rollers) and the fourth one is no better. Even if you follow the instructions to the letter, it regularly takes 5+ attempts to get it to feed paper from the bypass tray, no matter how to try to trick the printer but lifting it up with more sheets underneath, pushing it further back, etc. which makes for a very frustrating experience.
The main tray works, although it's also very flimsy and quite flawed too. It requires a huge amount of resistance to pull it out, much more than any other printer I've used. The main tray also had to be replaced once under warranty due part of the plastic mechanism breaking.
The output tray is also too small and pages fall onto the floor when it overflows, although this is the case with a lot of printers.
The drivers are also very buggy, some of the faxing features don't work (corrupted images) and despite having the second tray set as "labels" or other special paper, when tray 1 runs out it just starts printing from tray 2. I've seen it waste $50 of labels in a few minutes due to this ridiculous design (which more expensive Xerox printers don't seem to have).
Fuji Xerox really need to improve these design of the trays and the build quality to make this printer more reliable. Fast, economical cost per page, PostScript support. Bypass tray design completely flawed. The main tray design is very flimsy and the output tray is too small.
