Sensational printer – I have used this printer for 6 years and never had a problem with it. My 88 year old father has the same printer and it too has been totally reliable. We both run Mac computers, iPhones and iPads through it wirelessly. Again, fast, reliable performance. I seem to have printed reams of pages, yet it has not run out of ink. I have just ordered a new… Read more
ink cartridge in case they stop making them. It can sit in sleep mode for a month and start up within 10 or 20 seconds when I wirelessly send a print job to it. Honestly, a printer as inexpensive as this should not be so good - but it is. I am confused with the problems that other people have experienced with it. Maybe it is more suited to Macs. All in, this is the best printer that I have owned - and I have owned too many to name. Good work Fuji-Xerox!
It prints when It wants to – it prints well when it wants to. It dosent sync well with Windows 10 It dosen't connect well via wifi. Not satisfied with reliability at all. Often get a message on screen saying "Printer not available at this time" even if I have saved a document to print. Goes frequently into Deep Sleep mode Show details
A good purchase in 2016 – It works very well as a monochorme laser printer. It can print double-sided documents. Very easy to connect it to the WIFI. It stays on Deep Sleep mode. Whenever I want to print anything either from my phone or laptop, it never has any issue to print them wirelessly. Very reliable. I bought this in 2016 from Officeworks for $98, the reason for me… Read more
to leave a feedback now was due to seeing other users' negative review. I think other users may have bad WIFI at home, so it could be hard to setup. Compatible toners only cost AU$30, so I don't see why there are complaints about toner. Officeworks sells the original toner for $61, it has 1-star reviews. So, it could be that.
good one but features are in lacking – It looks pretty alright however wish it has scanner highlight and smidgen less expensive too in light of the fact that once ink is done it going to cost more $$$ costly to purchase ink. Expectation this stay longer and I don't lament on my buy. Want to have less expensive ink to purchase Sale. Show details
Good except for wifi setup – Have used for about 3 years and been happy. Now moved and cant setup wifi to the -5 network other devices are on. The WPS setup worked after the 3rd attempt but selects the base network with no ability for my ability. Cant see how you can setup manually and choose network. Show details
Terrible hardware. Wifi setup is a clumsy. Goes offline and no way to put online without reset – Goes to sleep and forgets wifi all the time. The worst printer I ever had. Manual setup is a killer. Will never buy Xerox again. Very clumsy hardware, terrible software. Should make a driver to configure via USB. Show details
Rubbish – Absolute crap. This functions as a wired printer to just 1 of 6 devices that should be able to connect wirelessly. Finding a downloadable user manual for this model is impossible. Finding a replacement for the cd set-up is impossible. Fuji support are hopeless - script jockeys at best. The online and downloadable set up file tells you to insert… Read more
the CD at some stage - the very thing you haven't got. Support is terrible. Basically a good machine (possibly), totally let down by online support. Do not buy.
Fuji Xerox P265 Don't do it unless you are a technically minded person and can beat the goto sleep mode – The unit is not easy to add to Apple Products in my opinion and particularly the laptops. PC and Windows 10 did not pull it up and then downloaded the driver from Fuji Xerox page and it did nothing. Then when I did get it working a few times it would go to sleep in sleep mode. I wasted many hours trying to resolve this to no end. The wifi worked sometimes. The final insult is spending my life writing a review to tell you not to do what I did. Show details
Perfect printer for home – I purchased this one from Office Works 2-3 years back and so far it's performing very well. I have it connected to my main PC via USB port but also enabled the wireless connectivity. I can definitely print wirelessly from my other PCs and laptop but the iPhone intermittently show it as an airprinter. Print quality is 7 out of 10 but that is ok for everyday work. Show details
Waste of money – Running a small business from home requires efficient and reliable printers. The Xerox name has been around for a long time with a reputation of quality and reliability. This is not the case with this product. The plug and play aspect is non existent. Then to download and install drivers direct from fuji xerox was a headache like no other. I use… Read more
many peripherals regularly and never had problems like this. Wifi printing - don't bother as you need to reconnect after every few print jobs. Then even the usually safe usb connection required the occasional re install. I see some reviewers are happy with their experience with this printer but I cannot in good conscience recommend it to anyone. Life is too short to have to (maybe) deal with this.
Horrendeous – Seriously the worst printer you'll come across. Wireless is basically useless, 30 mins to do A page of black and white text. Setup is diabolical and completely un-user friendly. If you accidentally touch the wifi button, you're stuck in that menu for eternity!!!. You have been warned, just look elsewhere. Show details
One at home and one in the office – We purchased these primarily for Air Print from iPads but also use them for general printing in the office. One is 12 months old and the second about 6 months and had limited problems. Once every month or two we have had to reboot the printer to reconnect to the wifi. Seems a reliable workforce for a budget printer. WiFi connection is fairly straight forward if you know what you are doing or have read the manual. Show details
Wireless and wifi horrific – Do not buy this is you are basing your choice on wireless connectivity!!!! I battled the long connecting times, the saying it's connected but won't do anything, the printing 30 mins after the job was sent (literally!!!) since October 2017 and had enough. I took it back to officeworks and they were great and I've bought a different printer. I tried… Read more
multiple apps, drivers, devices. Would not recommend this to anyone. Commenting on print quality alone, it's a nice quality print on the page.

Does not operate reliably – The machine does not connect or stay connected. Have persevered for amount twelve months an am totally frustrated. We have spent an inordinate amount of time trying to keep the machine connected. It is a total waste of money and precious time. Do not purchase this machine. Avoid this machine at all costs. Docuprint P265DW - Happy – We bought ours about 10 months ago. WiFi working and never had a problem, setting up or operating, works through a router. Print quality is good & we changed the ink recently, no problems. What I did find was that you need to use the software to connect the printer through the router, once done it stays connected. The printer did jam, once, due to… Read more
high humidity that wet the paper. The cost of the refill, $80 is a bit rich.
The 265dw is worth the price.
No Wireless connection – I bought this printer and have spent unbelievable amount of time in trying to get it connected to the WiFi. After about turning the printer and the model on/off about 15 times it finally printed. But the joy only lasted a day. It was back to the same problem. Spent one whole week trying to get it going. Since I am working and this printer was for… Read more
home use I could only be contacted after 6pm. After about a week we did get someone on and she tried her best to help and I do appreciate it. Unfortunately, the problem was with the network card in the printer. The product is faulty..their mobile plug in app and software seems like they have not updated the user interface since the days of MS DOS... I wasted too much time. Officeworks, where I bought it, were good. Imagine what frustrations I would have to go through had I bought it online... I had it exchanged with a Brother HL-L2375DW and it works perfectly. I don't even notice it's there. Got hooked up to the WiFi the first time and it has stayed connected. Xerox needs to up its game in delivering better products and modernising the printer app. Meanwhile, I am happy with Brother.
Do not buy this – When you can get it to print the quality is fine but the usability of the thing is ATROCIOUS, the wireless connectively hopeless and unreliable. A good printer is one you barely notice is there. This one you spend all your time troubleshooting. It is a nightmare. Steer clear unless you are some sort of masochist. Show details
fuji xerox p265dw – I agree. I have two HP printers and have had no problem. I have installed the software about 4 times, it is now stuck on "receiving data". I wish I had bought the HP instead. WIFI direct is a joke on this printer. I have a hp with wifi direct which worked first time and is still working. Show details
Great Printer – I was sceptical at first, but having used it for a month, I can highly recommend this printer * Low cost * great print quality * great connectivity options * small physical footprint * Prints on both sides of the page * Windows Drivers available to print blindingly fast from a Windows machine * Google Print to print from Chromebooks Show details
Does a good job and an entry level price – Bought this for our son for his birthday - has turned out to be great. The wireless function is a real bonus, means the whole house has access to high quality print jobs. The replacement cartriges are reasonably priced and he still hasn't had to replace it - nearly 8 months into a teaching degree and also printing music for tutition. Show details
So Far So good – Just bought this so a few early impressions. Set up was quite straight forward using the printer's LCD and the PC via USB. Network connection worked well using the router's WPS function. (Option 5c in the 'Quick Start Guide.') Text (Size 8 - 12) is crisp enough for business documents, with line graphics and shading being acceptable quality. … Read more
Duplexing is simple following on screen prompts.
So far I've had no paper handling issues (admittedly after less than 20 sheets .)
OEM consumables seem to be around the same price as for similar machines, and a bit less than those for the almost identical Brother HL-L2365dw.
Ok – It looks pretty ok but wish it has scanner feature and little bit cheaper too because once ink is finished it gonna cost more $$$ expensive to buy ink. Hope this stay longer and I do not regret on my purchase. Hope to have cheaper ink to buy Sale sale Show details

Really good printer – I was worried about buying this given the reviews, which look pretty bad. But I needed an affordable laser printer to do Minc foiling for my wedding invitations that also did duplex. This one was affordable at Officeworks, I think about $99. So glad I got this one. Looks good. Is small. Works perfectly every single time. So much cheaper… Read more
than my inkjet to print and duplex is quick and easy and saves paper. Never had issues with it not coming out of sleep mode. Has worked first time every time and took 2 mins to set up. So glad I bought this one!! I have even bought it a printer draw to sit alongside my photo printing inkjet as this printer will def be staying in the long term.
BAD OPTION CONTROL – No matter what I do, the printer will not print one-sided only - it insists on printing everything back-to-back. I am exasperated and have better things to do with my time than trying to coax it into doing as it's told. This is a serious problem - the printer dialogue box is fine - it just doesn't do what it's supposed to do. Show details
the worst! – I purchased this wifi printer for occasional home printing in January 2017. From the start, the printer constantly drops out, takes many minutes to print a page, then goes into deep sleep and stops working. I have called the fuji help centre multiple times. The operators are able to assist by uninstalling and reinstalling the driver. The printer… Read more
works temporarily, then the problem re-emerges. Research online shows I am not the only person with this problem. Such a time waster - avoid at all costs!
Great Money Saver...But!! – Well I became sick to death of being ripped off with printer ink. As i rarely need colour I decided to throw away my Ink Jet printer and go for a black only printer. At Harvey Norman I was advised not to buy their cheapest but the slightly dearer Fuji Xerox. I have to say it is sensationally cheap to run but has the same fault as other reviews of… Read more
other model Fuji Xerox printers...namely that many many times it will not respond to the print order...it will if you turn it off and then on again...but i am now getting sick of doing that!!
