Furrytail Clear Drinking Cat Filtered Water Fountain

both my girls adore it. Small dogs love it too - I gifted one to my brother, who has a pug & 2 fussy chihuahuas, & he bought 2 more for his 5 cats. My fountain is now 2.5 years old and still works perfectly. His fountains also still work well and his pets love them too. My brother hates almost everything, and he likes it, haha. The fountain is well-priced, attractive design & good quality. However - and this is a big one for me - on one occasion, the company was terrible to deal with when I purchased the replacement filters from them in 2021. They sent me only the round filters (without the second essential inside filter parts), and they were packed poorly (not in their usual box). When I contacted them, a male team member dismissively told me it was a new design & I needed to buy a new filter. I said OK - but did my own research and contacted all the Australian online retailers who stock this part to ask if (a) Furrytail had changed their fountains; and (b) if the replacement filters still had both the 5 disc filters and extra little round filters inside. Furrytail were still advertising their 'five step filtration' model and the model I had at home, so I was suspicious that this team member was trying to fob me off. Sure enough, all retailers confirmed there was NO change in the model, and yes, they still had the same discs/little internal filters in stock. I've been purchasing from external websites since. Now, looking at Furrytail's website, it seems like they've been out of stock of this fountain for a while - maybe supply chain issues; maybe they've stopped making them. But how I was lied to, and not offered a refund, has made me decide NOT to deal with Furrytail again - which is a shame, as my 2 cats like their products.
