Geekom Mini IT13

Powerful desktop replacement for less than laptop outlay – I was Looking for a small footprint powerful minicomputer for audio recording/editing. I came across the GEEKOM Mini IT13, using the latest Gen 13 i7 processor, 32Gb DDR4 RAM and 1 TB SSD, network card, blue tooth and an abundance of ports, together with Win 11 Pro preinstalled, supported by a 3 year factory warranty. Ordered Monday March 12th arrived 16th, free RD postage. First impressions, study compact chassis packed like an Apple product, branded outer packaging, with the main unit in a plastic/cellophane wrap. The power brick, leads and HDMI cable were individually neatly wrapped in the lower part of the box held in place by a study black card shelf. An envelope containing a gold card with a thank you message from GEEKOM finished off the box of tricks. Out of the box set up took around 20 mins, most of that time awaiting windows upgrades. Once set up my Microsoft account settings were quickly downloaded together with sync settings from my accounts. First impressions, very quick, dealing with multiple page spread sheet updates, Adobe illustrator, and editing large Audacity files. Brilliant value for money with a 3 year peace of mind warranty at a cost of just over Au$1000.
