Now 2 years old and still goimg strong – It is now January 2015 and the GENKI Spin Bike has now clocked up over 5,000 kms and is still going strong. Two years of trouble free peddling. So the value for money gets better as time passes. At this juncture, there is no evidence of undue wear or failure of any parts. One important factor though, is to keep the chain lubricated regularly, I use a product called 'Pure Dry Lube' which is non-oily, hence little to no mess, from oil splash/drips.

Time has moved on, it is now January 2016. My GENKI has now chaulked up over 12000 Kms, peddling at an average of 39 Kph. One minor problem experienced. The small plastic arm on the Wheel Sender Unit broke off. Not sure why, it may have got bumped? However, not a problem, was able to glue it back together with a good glue. Only difficulty was having the need to remove the 18 Kg wheel then reassemble. Not easy given the weight involved, but overcome with perseverance. Still a great Exercise machine. Love it.

Well it is now July 2018 and my GENKI is all of 5 years old and has now clocked over 23,000 kms and still going just as strong as ever. Get's used at east 3 times every week and never ride less than 35 kms, sometimes 50 kms. Wheel bearings, crank bearings and chain are all still in good condition, which speaks well for this product. When it eventually gives up the ghost, if ever :):):) I will certainly look at replacing it with another GENKI.
