Unusable - Strong Chemical Smell – Bought to use as a bedside table. Had to move it out of my bedroom due to strong chemical smell that made me feel sick. Wiped it and let it air out in living room for a few days. It stank up my whole house instead. I aired it outside in direct sunlight, taking it out every morning and bringing it in at night. The smell did not reduce, not even a little. The smell lingered in the house each day while it was outside. I had headaches and coughing continued to get worse even when I was airing it everyday outside.

I have never experienced such a strong toxic smell from furniture before. Other reviews online mention the smell seems like formaldehyde.
