Soaked through – Rain coat soaked right through. Went for a hike in the rain & was saturated by the end. Just like another review here. Not waterproof at all!
Terrible quality – I bought an outdoor shirt took to Africa for a few safaris the shirt literally fell to pieces
My favourite puffer – Love this brand. Wears well, warm for winter, washable and always flattering. I always seek out a new item each year for my winter wardrobe. Ive never had any issues.
Got soaking wet – I bought a jacket many years ago and I have hardly used it. It is like new. Just been in a couple of light showers. Yesterday I wore it in a down pour and got soaked to the bone, it did not leak at seams but straight through the fabric, so obviously the fabric has lost its coating - but how? I was wearing waterproof trousers - another brand and… Read more
they kept me dry. So disappointed but relieved to find out before I take it to Scandinavia. Obviously no recourse given the time I have owned but not used it. Will try to waterproof it. I would not recommend as being wet cold and miserable in a trek isn't fun.

Gondwana Outdoor Adventure Wear didnt make the grade – I bought a shirt specifically for outdoor adventure wearing, went kayaking.. while it lived up to its name as a quick dry item, it rubbed and pilled wherever my pfd or camel pack straps went. Edges became ragged, in only about 1week of wearing. Wouldnt mind if it was cheap, but at $80, I expected at least as good as my friends cheaper BCF outdoor shirt of a similar design and features
Reasonable quality, reasonable price – Have owned Gondwana for years and only just thought to check their reviews. Have a pair of double zip-off pants, nylon, got them so long ago can't remember, and caned them. Light, hard wearing, versatile. Eventually the elastic went, have a local seamtress who replaced it cheaply, and it was well worth it. That was a few years ago and still… Read more
going strong. Also bought a softshell, the Coorong, a couple of years ago at half price. It is not the warmest garment I have, but is not meant to be. The clue is in the name 'shell'. With appropriate shirt, fleece, or thermals, this jacket is fine. Very wind- and water- resistant, it has lots of features (especially compared to their main competitor) : 2 large pockets, big enough for tall waterbottles; a top zip pocket for the phone (or ski pass), adjustable cuffs, drawcord, high neck with garage. It is 1/2 size too large, to fit the gear underneath. I washed it as hot as I could, did not shink at all, which I guess is a bit of a compliment. Would buy their stuff again, but like at their main competitor, only at sale price.
Gondwana Nardi tarvel pants K-MART quality with david jones price – I have own Gondwana pants convertables for about 8 years still going. They were excellent quality. As my old pants were great for travel super comfortable light quick drying I decided to buy another gondwana pants.Since I knew they good quality brand bought them online . What a shock it was when my pants came . The material they made from is… Read more
extremely thin(100% nylon). The old pair was 55%cotton 20% nylon 25% recycled polyester.Lot better feel fabric then this nylon. They retail for $99.99 but they feels and look more like something that was $20.00 from K-MART. The rear packets side thigh one have Velcro (my old ones have magnet on the back and zipper in thigh) These are not going to last as long as my last pair. Very disappointed. Wont be buying anything from GONDWANA anymore.
Gondwana Clothing Not Living Up To Its Warrantee – In my experience of purchasing and wearing numerous Gondwana Outdoor clothes they do not live up to expect ions of long lasting, tough outdoor clothing.Very few items of clothes last anywhere near their three year warrantee.Yes they do refund or replace but their product assessment department always give you the run around. And Gondwana change the… Read more
rules of the return warrantee. The rule used to be you purchase on line and then record the purchase under the warrantee section, now you have to provide proof of purchase. The best pant i have had by far was the original Blinman Pant-7 years ago they lasted, but sadly over the last 3 years their quality has dropped and the pants are not extremely durable anymore-as Gondwana advertise. With their rip stop material shirts and pants the material fades even being 50 uv treated,i have other co's rip stop shirts/pants that are still going strong,no fade after 8 years.Time for me to put this to bed and move on sadly.
Great product, poor online service – I purchased 2 shirts for my father in February. My credit card was charged 3 times (for one order). It took me some time to get a refund from Gondwana & when I did get a refund, due to the exchange rate I did not receive all my money back. I contacted Gondwana many times about this, but I have received no reply nor any explanation. The shopping… Read more
experience with Gondwana was tarnished because of this - I am a frequent onliner shopper with the UK/USA and this has never happened to me. The shirts are excellent quality but the customer service is lacking. I would have liked to contact the CEO of Gondwana about my complainant, but found this review center instead. Seems like nice shirts. Poor service, concern that my visa card will be fraudulently charged if I re-order
