Good Pair Days

A fun way to try new wines and learn more about wine. I prefer to choose my own wines as well as take on board some of their suggestions from time to time. I've mostly been trying cheaper wines and it's been a bit hit and miss, have had much better luck with the cheaper reds than the cheaper whites. The app is slick and the gameification is clever.

We have been using it on and off for a year and a half. We subscribe for 4 bottles at a time and then pause when we get too much overstock if we need to catch up. They are really good about stopping when you need to, but I keep coming back for the range, price and ease of getting wines I actually like

prefer cats or dogs, and if I cry during rom-coms (the answer is YES, ALWAYS). It's like you're saying, "We understand your emotional fragility, and therefore, we know you need a full-bodied Shiraz." Spot on.

The wines themselves? Let's just say they've led to some interesting evenings. I’m pretty sure I once had a deep conversation with my dogs about the complexities of climate change after a particularly robust Pinot Noir. Don't judge me, the wine made them seem very insightful.

Your tasting notes, bless your heart, are ridiculously entertaining. "Hints of gooseberry and elderflower"? I wouldn't know a gooseberry from an elbow, but I'll nod sagely and pretend I do. Mostly I just detect "grape" and "slightly better grape." But hey, at least I feel sophisticated while saying it.

The delivery? Flawless. Your boxes arrive like a little parcel of inebriation, carefully packaged and ready to ignite a Tuesday night dance party in my kitchen. My recycling bin, however, is starting to resemble a small wine cellar. The neighbours are starting to give me knowing glances.

My only real complaint? You've ruined cheap wine for me forever. I used to be perfectly content with a $10 bottle of something vaguely red. Now? Now I'm all "This lacks complexity! Where are the nuanced tannins?!" Thanks a lot, Good Pair Days. Thanks a lot.

So, would I recommend Good Pair Days? Absolutely! If you want to expand your wine horizons, impress your friends (or confuse them with your “expert” knowledge), and occasionally have philosophical debates with bemused doggies, then sign up immediately.

their service, every time. Their wine is always delicious, and their loyalty system truly rewards you with their merch being of a high quality standard. They truly make me feel like a valued customer. Not to mention the free gifts I receive now as I have reached a high level in their loyalty program. I have also been able to place my subscription on pause easily, when I have been pregnant and not able to drink. This also keeps my loyalty status the same while I’m on pause. I have only had to rate 1 wine poorly out of the hundreds of bottles I have received over the years and I was immediately contacted by them offering a replacement wine with a new recommendation. I would honestly recommend GPD to anyone. I can’t say enough good things about the company and they have not let me down once! :)

Such an amazing service, great platform, great rewards system and fantastic for any wine lover. You can really tell it was created by people who are passionate about the product and the service. I would highly recommend trying even if you aren’t a big wine drinker, it’ll help you understand wine and figure out what you like. Also having the extra bottles around that I don’t finish makes a great gift in a pinch for a dinner party or occasion.

Great value for money, if you use the app and website with the wine you get, you can learn so much more and even find recipes to go with your bottle. Very happy with the box I received.

I signed up to GPD and ordered a 4-wine box. The order became stuck at the AusPost Malaga depot for a considerable period. I was subsequently advised the courier had irreparably damaged the shipment and were returning it to NSW. quite obviously an AI-generated or form response stating "It broke, we'll send it again. You'll get it when you get it". Any perceptions of genuine attempts to personalise wine selections or an actual investment in customer service were broken by this communication.

If I wanted to engage with computers, I would use a wine recommendation bot from Google and duck down to BWS for half the price. Very disappointing experience with what I thought to be a very promising service.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with Good Pair Days. I’ve only had two previous orders, and both times I created my own box with Pinot Gris and Pinot Grigio, but this time, since Good Pair Days doesn't send reminders, I forgot about my delivery. Pinot Gris or Pinot Grigio was included. It’s frustrating that my preferences were ignored. To make matters worse, I was told I could use credits towards future purchases, but only by spending more money, which feels like a tactic to push further sales instead of genuinely addressing my concerns. Unless you’re willing to set a reminder every month to review and pick your own wines (which probably defeats the purpose of a subscription service), I wouldn’t bother. Given all of this, I will be canceling my subscription.

Charged for nothing – Unexpectedly charged $70 a year after last purchase and cancelling everything. Didn’t place an order, didn’t visit the website, don’t even live in the same house the supposed order is being delivered to. Ridiculous that they can charge you for nothing, out of the blue, after cancelling.

I'm having so much fun with GoodPair Days. Not only they have an amazing points program, that allows you to stay engaged and learn more about the wines you are tasting, their recommendation system is very good! If you like wine but don't understand much about it (like me), it's a great opportunity to get some good recommendations based on your taste and it's a good chance to try some new flavors! 100% recommend

to the store, which is a win in itself. What I love most is that the selections actually feel curated to my taste rather than just random bottles. It’s introduced me to varieties I never would have picked up myself, and I’ve discovered some new favourites along the way. Every delivery feels like a little treat arriving at the door. If you enjoy wine but don’t want to spend hours researching what to buy, this takes all the guesswork out of it in the best possible way. Highly recommend.

I think this is fantastic. I’ve wanted to get into wine tasting for a while now and this is a great way to get a good variety of wines with all the information I need about the wine’s properties. Love how sustainable they are as well!

I have only received my second monthly box, but I am enjoying learning about the different wines and trying grapes I wouldn't usually go for. It's a nice presentation but more eco friendly packaging would be nice. Maybe they should create that as an option.

Love GPD! The wines are top notch and the delivery is fast. I like the ability to choose my own wines for the monthly box and being able to experiment with styles. The rewards program is great making it attainable to redeem points for real wine or fun wine products!

Not only is it a great product but the company continues to evolve. My favourite thing is the staff- they are so responsive and friendly and nothing is too much trouble!

Great idea, take a short survey and you get immediate recommendations for wines to try. The more you try and review, the more accurate the recommendations. As someone just starting on wine this is very helpful in learning what pairs well with my taste

options, so we have ceased the beers - but I did enjoy receiving varied the stouts, as a stout drinker myself. I am happily increasing my stock of wines so that once we are finished redoing our house, we are ready for some dinner parties stocked by GPD. The price is great, especially considering I am not having to do any of the choosing and buying work myself - the convenience is worth the price.

I never try new things, and am so picky with wines and foods but I loved all the pairings and none of them were wines I had tried before. Very happy. Will be ordering again for sure!
